It’s been said that our life is all a matter of perspective. Or chase memories rather than material possessions. Some people can be blinded by cars, cash, and shoes. While others live for their next trip. To visit a faraway land and get lost. However, it is all matter of time, funds, and decisions.

The adage, “Don’t judge me until you walk a mile in shoes!” is a perfect way to formulate my perspective thought here. The idea of walking around while judging others seems like an exhausting task. To each, their own but far be it from me to act this way.

Enough with the therapy session! Let’s talk hockey! A very sweet four-game slate tonight! Let’s attack it! Here’s what I am thinking!

COLOMBUS BLUE JACKETS PP 1 at Ottawa Senators 7:30p Est

Jack Roslovic PP1 & L1(FD-$4,300)(DK-$3,100)
Patrik Laine PP1 & L1(FD-$7,800)(DK-$6,300)
Oliver Bjorkstrand PP1 & L2(FD-$5,800)(DK-$4,300)
Jakub Voracek PP1 & L3(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,600)

The Columbus Blue Jackets have flown under the radar this season and check in with a 30-27-3, overall record which is good for 5th place in the Metropolitan. Offensively the Blue Jackets are scoring, on average, 3.30 goals a game on 30 shots a contest. Nothing jumps off the page, to me, with the Blue Jackets offense but they are in Ottawa tonight! That must count for something!

The Blue Jackets’ defense is what I find startling! Columbus, as of late, is giving up around 3.70 goals a game and a whopping 36 shot attempts per contest! While I do prefer CBJ tonight just know the Sens are scoring around 2.65 goals a night on around 30 shot attempts.

Most folks will flock to Boston, Calgary, and Tampa Bay tonight. Rightfully so, but this one right here has the propensity to be a slugfest! Stack this game from top to bottom! Both teams trade shots and goals but Columbus squeaks this one out!

Final Score Blue Jacket win 6-5!

TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING L2 at Seattle Kraken 10p Est

Brayden Point L2 & PP1(FD-$7,900)(DK-$6,800)
Anthony Cirelli L2(FD-$5,000)(DK-$2,900)
Ondrej Palat L2 & PP2(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,200)

Back-to-back Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay heads all the way to Seattle tonight to tussle with the Kraken! They enter this contest with a beautiful 38–15–6 record. Although, Tampa has lost three of their last five games. Should be a nice get-right game for the Lightning!

The Lightning is scoring, on average, 3.40 goals a game and has limited opponents to a measly 2.80 goals-against average. On the flip side, the Kraken has awful, to say the least. Only averaging around 2.50 goals a game while giving up eye-popping 3.60 goals a game.

Believe I mentioned on Monday letting the slate build itself. Let the stacks just fall right into your lap! Case in point, Tampa Bay! If you want to talk leverage or strategy then run with TB2 seeing how TB1, with Stamkos, should be wildly popular. The Lightning will blow into town and absolutely annihilate the Kraken.

Final score Tampa Bay wins 7-2!

ONE-OFF ALERT! Victor Hedman L1 & PP1(FD-$7,100)(DK-$6,800)

C’mon now! It’s Vic Hedman! True blue stud defensemen on a small Main slate like this one are priceless! Just in case you wanted some affirmation Hedman is leading Tampa in assists with 43! While 20 of those have come on the power play! Victor is a maestro on the power play he might also be a Terminator. Do not fade Hedman tonight! Please!

CALGARY FLAMES L1 vs. New Jersey Devils 10p Est

Elias Lindholm L1 & PP1(FD-$8,100)(DK-$6,500)
Johnny Gaudreau L1 & PP1(FD-$8,700)(DK-$7,000)
Matthew Tkachuck L1 & PP1(FD-$7,900)(DK-$6,200)

The Flames have been rolling! They have made for a nice stack the last few weeks! Remember the idea? Stack hot teams and hotlines! Calgary’s first line has been on fire! So calling them the Flames is very fitting!

Calgary has won six of their last seven games if I’m not mistaken! They are very tough to beat in Calgary with an 18-5-5 home record. Calgary absolutely peppers opposing teams with around 36 shots on goal a game! Good for 2nd overall in the league.

Look, I love the idea of using Devils on any given night based on low ownership or opponent. Tonight is not that night. The Devils are walking into a buzzsaw tonight at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Calgary does as they please tonight. Final score 6-2!
