There is always something about a physical altercation that get’s people going. It instantly separates folks as they scramble to pick a side then go on defending their stance. Without fail, it gets nasty quickly between strangers as they start to get personal with no regard for feelings.

Maybe that’s just human nature. Always fighting for what you believe in or always battling others to stand up for a cause. Far be it from me to judge you or put down the way you live. Prince said it best, “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this crazy thing called life!”

Only five total games on the NHL schedule tonight. The perfect way to start our new week! Here is where my head is at! Let’s dig in!

CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS L1 vs. Buffalo Sabers 8:30p EST

Patrick Kane L1 & PP1(FD-$9,100)(DK-$7,400)
Dylan Strome L1 & PP1(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,100)
Alex DeBrincat L1 & PP1(FD-$8,100)(DK-$7,000)

Chicago is looking for any kind of spark having lost to Vegas on Saturday 5-4 in overtime. Chicago is seventh in the Central Division at 24-32-10 with only 58 points. There will be no playoff appearance for the Blackhawks this year.

Alex DeBrincat is leading Chicago in goals with 37. While Pat Kane is leading Chicago in assists with 57 and points with 78. The Blackhawks scored, on average, 2.70 goals a game while allowing about 3.45 goals a game. Buffalo scores an average of 2.60 goals a game while allowing about 3.50 goals a game.

Simply put, we always stack against bad teams. The Buffalo Sabers are a bad team. While the Blackhawks can still move the puck and score, they are a good stacking option tonight.

Chicago will cruise at home tonight. Final score, 5-1!

WASHINGTON CAPITALS L1 vs. Carolina Hurricanes 7p EST

Evgeny Kuznetsov L1 & PP1(FD-$7,600)(DK-$6,600)
Alexander Ovechkin L1 & PP1(FD-$9,700)(DK-$8,600)
Marcus Johansson L1 & PP(FD-$4,100)(DK-$2,700)

Washington comes into this game 37-20-10 with 84 points and a firm grasp on the second Wild Card Playoff spot in Eastern Conference. The Caps have also won three out of their last five games! Carolina also sports a strong overall record, 43– 15– 7, good for 93 points, and is first in the Metropolitan division. However, have lost three out of their last five games.

Alexander Ovechkin, per usual, is leading the Caps in points(78), and goals(42). While 14 of those goals have been on the power play! This game should be as advertised! The Carolina Hurricanes are scoring about 3.30 goals a game, and the Washington Capitals are scoring 3.30 goals. So. As silly as it sounds this game is starting out as a 3-3 tie! My favorite game to stack from start to finish tonight as we see nine total goals scored!

Both teams will take shots, penalties, and score the puck. Final score, Washington wins 5-4!

STACK ADDITION! John Carlson L1 & PP1(FD-$6,500)(DK-$7,000)

Mr. Carlson is leading Washington in assists with 44. While 15 of those have been on the power play. John can even be called Johnny on the Spot seeing how he is +13 on the season. The Ovi-Carlson power-play stack is as high functioning as it gets!

LOS ANGELES KINGS L1 vs. Seattle Kraken 10:30p EST

Anze Kopitar L1 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$6,000)
Adrian Kempe L1 & PP1(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,400)
Alex Iaffalo L1 & PP1(FD-$4,700)(DK-$4,800)

The Kraken head to LA for a rematch against the Kings. Los Angeles just beat the Kraken 4-2 in Seattle on Saturday. Seattle has had a tough go of it in their first season as their record sits at 20-39-6.

Given their talent, the Kings should be a touch better and are only 2.80 goals a game. While their defense is allowing around 2.70 goals a game. On the other end, the Kraken are scoring a respectable 2.60 goals a game. While there is allowing 3.60 goals a game this season.

I do believe the Kraken are able to hang with the Kings here but only for so long. I could see the first two periods ticking away with only one or two goals scored. Then, the Kings, turn up the heat in the third and pull away.

The Kings will finish this one strong. Final score, LA wins 4-1!
