Being selfish is, without a doubt, a defect of character. The good news is that it’s not terminal. The bad news, it takes a ton of time and effort to change. In my opinion, the problem with social media is the fact everyone looks at it as a quick chance to become a celebrity. An instant ticket to superstardom.
The idea of keeping your head down and working hard doesn’t appeal to many folks these days. It is always about the easiest route to take. The more corners we can cut the better. Look, far be it from me to judge what path you take. Mine has been filled with trials, tribulations, and bad decisions.
Each day should be a day of progress, steady progress forward if you make it that way. You may not see it, but others do. Every step we take starts with a decision. A decision to be better or a choice to waste away. It is always in your hands. Choose wisely.

There are nine hockey games on the schedule tonight. The first puck drop is at 7p EST in Boston. The last one of the night is in Anaheim at 10p EST. Let’s make the best of it! Here is what I am doing!
NASHVILLE PREDATORS L1 vs. Ottawa Senators 8p EST
Ryan Johansen L1 & PP1(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,600)
Matt Duchene L1 & PP1(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,800)
Filip Forsberg L1 & PP1(FD-$8,300)(DK-$7,400)
Roman Josi L1 & PP1(FD-$7,300)(DK-$9,200)
Nashville is locked into the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference with an overall record of 38–24–4. Which is good enough for 80 points. The Predators have won three out of their last five games. Ottawa, well, is not very good and they head to Nashville with an overall record of 23–36–6. No secret but the Senators have lost three out of their last five games.
First-line winger Filip Forsberg leads the Preds in goals with 37. While seven of those have come on the power play. Filip has also fired 161 total shots on net this season. Stud defenseman Roman Josi leads the team in points with 81 to go along with 18 goals. Oh, wait! There is more! Roman is also leading the team in assists with 63! While 23 of those have been on the power play. There is absolutely no way you can stack Nashville L1 without Roman Josi.
The Predators are averaging 3.30 goals a game while Ottawa is only averaging 2.60. The Senators are also allowing opposing teams to score around 3.30 goals a game. There is absolutely no way the Preds don’t score, at minimum, four total goals as they wipe the floor with the Sens.
Nashville wails on the Senators tonight at home. Final score, Preds win 6-2!
MINNESOTA WILD L2 vs. Philadelphia Flyers 8p EST
Fredrick Gaudreau L2 & PP2(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,700)
Matt Boldy L2 & PP2(FD-$6,800)(DK-$4,200)
Kevin Fiala L2 & PP2(FD-$5,600)(DK-$5,200)
Minnesota is home tonight and boasts a strong 40-20-4 record. Which is good for 84 points and has a firm grasp on a playoff spot. The Wild have also won their last five games and have scored, at minimum, three goals in each one! The Flyers head to Minnesota having lost three out of the last five games.
Follow me here as I paint a picture for the Wild’s second line. It is all about their first line seeing how Krill Kaprizov has 36 goals and 81 points while Mats has 48 total assists. Everybody else on Earth knows that as well! So, to me, the strategic move tonight is their second line. Fiala has basically supported this second line as of late recording 2 goals, 2 assists, and 8 total shots last three games. Boldy had a nice little at the start of March but has since cooled off. While Fredrick is seemingly still finding his footing in the league.
The total has gone over in 4 of Philadelphia’s last 5 games. Minnesota is 6-0 straight up in their last 6 games. The Wild have now entered ‘playoff prep’ mode and Philadelphia poses no real threat tonight.
The Wild are in and out tonight with the Flyers. Final score, Minnesota wins 5-2!
DALLAS STARS L1 at Anaheim Mighty Ducks 10p EST
Roope Hintz L1 & PP1(FD-$6,900)(DK-$6,400)
Jason Robertson L1 & PP1(FD-$8,500)(DK-$5,900)
Joe Pavelski L1 & PP1(FD-$7,500)(DK-$5,700)
Dallas is currently ninth in the Western Conference but right in the thick of the playoff race. The Stars are only one point behind the Vegas Golden Knights and only two points behind the seventh-place Edmonton Oilers. The Anaheim Ducks are looking to snap a nine-game losing streak. Anaheim has not won a game since March 6 when they beat the Sharks. For reference, today is March 29th. Not good.
Jason Robertson has 31 goals and leads the team. While Mr. Joe Pavelski leads the Stars in assists with 42 and 66 overall points. Dallas scores, on average, 2.90 goals a game while allowing about 2.98 goals a game. The Star’s power play is currently a top-12 unit as they cash in about 22.7% of the time. The Ducks are only scoring about 2.75 goals a game while allowing about 3.20 goals a game. I rarely say this but this Stars first line is a sure thing tonight.
Two teams heading in opposite directions. Dallas is scratching and clawing to get into the Stanley Cup Playoffs while the Ducks are making vacation plans. The Stars come through big time, as our late-game hammer.
Dallas propels our DFS lines to the top! Final score, Stars win 5-2!

FLORIDA PANTHERS L2 vs. Montreal Canadiens 7p EST
Sam Bennett L2 & PP2(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,500)
Anthony Duclair L2 & PP1(FD-$6,000)(DK-$4,200)
Jonathan Huberdeau L2 & PP1(FD-$8,800)(DK-$6,700)
What did you expect? Anytime the Florida Panthers play they will be mentioned in this article. However, true to form, I will not waste your time or treat you foolishly! Just know the first three stacks mentioned are where my heart lies tonight. This Panther’s blurb is just a reminder for tonight. If able, stack them up at least once tonight!
Here are a few betting trends I find important for tonight’s action. The total has gone over in 9 of Montreal’s last 13 games. While the total has gone over in 5 of Florida’s last 7 games against the Habs. The OVER is a lock. Florida to cover -1.5 goals is also a lock. Bet them both responsibility as we laugh all the way to the bank!
Pretty cut and dry tonight in Florida. Final score, Panthers win 6-1!
