Do you truly believe that things happen how they’re supposed to? Meaning, regardless of what we say and do the result will be what it’ll be? Personally speaking, I could argue both sides. I also believe we have control of certain things. Like our attitudes, behaviors, and emotions. Are those three traits enough to sway the universe in our favor?
Of course, we have a say so in our daily routine or personal relationship but, how much? Not telling you to be lazy and not to care with the “what will be will attitude!”. However, it all comes down to how we spend our time. That is the daily and lifelong decision to make. Seriously, ask yourself right now, “How do I want to spend my time?” Whatever the answer may be it is then time to act!

Only two games on the NHL schedule tonight! It is all ripe for the picking as folks turn their attention to baseball and playoff basketball! Here’s what I’m thinking!
FLORIDA PANTHERS L2 vs. Winnipeg Jets 7p EST
Sam Bennett L2 & PP2(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,600)
Claude Giroux L2 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$5,300)
Jonathan Huberdeau L2 & PP1(FD-$9,300)(DK-$7,700)
If the Florida Panthers are playing, I am stacking them. The Panthers are unbelievably good and off-the-charts trustworthy from a DFS perspective. With an overall record of 52-15-6 and 110 total points, they have also clinched a playoff spot. Florida has also won their last five games against the likes of Buffalo, Toronto, Buffalo at home, Nashville, and the Ducks.
The Jets have played well as of late too and built their record up to 35-28-11 and have won their last two games. However, Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele have just been added to the IR. That hurts but it’s just awful timing for Winnipeg as they chase for a Wild Card Playoff spot.
Jonathan Huberdeau AKA Mr. Panther leads the team in points with 105 and assists with 77. While 28 of those have been on the power play! If you need a little bit more of a nudge to stack up Florida, tonight check out these betting trends!
The Panthers are 8-0 straight up in their last 8 games.
The total has gone over in 10 of Florida’s last 15 games against the Jets.
The Panthers are 8-0 their last 8 home games.
If that wasn’t enough just take my word for it! Florida steamrolls the Jets tonight by a final score of 7-2!

NEW YORK ISLANDERS L1 at Montreal Canadiens 7p EST
Brock Nelson L1 & PP1(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,900)
Anders Lee L1 & PP1(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,900)
Anthony Beauviller L1 & PP2(FD-$4,300)(DK-$3,300)
The Islanders head up into Canada to tussle with the Canadiens. New York enters this one with an overall record of 34-29-9 and has won three out of its last five games. It’s like riding a wave or rollercoaster with some of these teams and the Isle is one of them! I am back on the Islanders baby!
Brock leads the team in points with 52 and in goals with 33. While 9 of them have been the power play. As I am working this all out in my head I do want a little taste of Matthew Barzal as a one-off or in addition to this NYI1 stack. Barzal leads the Isles in assists with 35 While 14 of those have been on the power play. So in conclusion, stacking the Isle’s first line add in their power play and we’re rolling!
I am taking the Islander’s money line(-156) and winning outright by a final score of 5-3!

MONTREAL CANADIENS L1 vs. New York Islanders 7p EST
Nick Suzuki L1 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$6,000)
Cole Caulfield L1 & PP1(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,200)
Josh Anderson L1 & PP1(FD-$4,500)(DK-$3,800)
No secret but the Montreal Canadiens have not been good this year. They have an overall record of 20-43-11. They have also lost four out of their last five games against the likes of Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Columbus. Their last victory leads me to believe this team is still fighting and they can still be valuable for us DFS players when they beat New Jersey 7-4.
This team runs through Nick Suzuki and it’s not close. Nick leads the team in points(56) and in goals(19). At the same time, 8 of those goals have been on the power play! Mr. Suzuki is also leading the Habs in assists with 37. In contrast, 12 of them have been on the power play.
Again, there are only two games and four teams. So, it is about taking big swings and/or using off-the-map line combinations. Personally, Montreal’s first line might be my favorite stack in a multi-entry GPP. If you do not feel that one, then just use Nick Suzuki as a one-off around the Panthers or Islanders.
As stated above the Islander will win here but the Canadiens can hang three, maybe four goals to make our DFS lines happy!
