How is it fair that the end of April is near? I cannot be the only one who feels like their living in this warp-speed time machine. Regardless, we take solace in a few things.

First of which is the idea that we have been progressive and productive. In all facets of our life, we can point to certain situations and outcomes that make us proud. You did that.

Secondly, we realize that the onward and upward way of living is glorious. Of our own doing, we put ourselves in the best situations for the best possible outcomes. You did that.

Lastly, the beautiful horizons in our future are no longer wishful thinking or daydreams. They are absolutes and we are already breaking down barriers and achieving greatness. You did that.

Big time 11 game slate tonight in the NHL and I am keeping it simple. Here is what I am thinking! Let’s dig in!

PHILADELPHIA FLYERS L2 at Montreal Canadiens 7p EST

Scott Laughton L2 & PP2(FD-$4,300)(DK-$3,600)
Bobby Brink L2 & PP1(FD-$3,500)(DK-$2,500)
James van Reimsdyk L2 & PP2(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,700)

The Flyers head to Montreal tonight to battle the Canadiens. Two bad teams with nothing to lose is the theme today! On offense, the Flyers are scoring, on average, 2.60 goals a game on around 30 total shots. Aside from their first line let’s add in Cam Atkinson seeing how he leads the team in points and in goals with 23 goals. Travis Konecny is also another Flyer skater we can mix and match tonight as Travis leads the team in assists with 35.

Two trends I find interesting tonight are as follows. The total has gone over in 10 of the Flyer’s last 15 games. While the Canadiens are 0-6 straight up in their last 6 games.

Look for a wild affair as there is little, to no, defense here tonight. Philadelphia wins by a final score of 4-3!

FLORIDA PANTHERS L2 vs. Detroit Red Wings 7p EST

Sam Bennett L2 & PP2(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,800)
Claude Giroux L2 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$5,200)
Anthony Duclair L2 & PP1(FD-$6,000)(DK-$4,500)

Look, why waste each other’s time here? The Panthers just blew out the Wings last weekend. Scoring four goals in the second period alone. Florida is also 10-0 straight up in their last 10 games. I would expect nothing different here tonight at the FLA Live Arena.

I will say one thing, Alexsander Barkov makes for one heck of a stack addition with their second line. Barkov scored three times last game on just four shots while playing 21 minutes. As usual, Jonathan Huberdeau had three assists, while several other Panthers each had an assist.

We all know I am a Detroit guy, through and through, but I cannot let that cloud my judgment as I try to bring you the best possible DFS content. The Panthers are rolling and are about to embark on a deep Stanley Cup run. Let’s take advantage while we can.

The Florida Panthers will have no issue beating the Wings and they win by a final score of 6-2!

LOS ANGELES KINGS L1 vs. Chicago Blackhawks 10:30p EST

Anze Kopitar L1 & PP1(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,000)
Adrian Kempe L1 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$5,000)
Andreas Athanasiou L1 & PP2(FD-$4,400)(DK-$3,400)

Using Chicago last night was fun while it lasted. The Blackhawks scored four times last night and now we move on and stack against them. The biggest issue has been their lack of offense all year. They are only scoring, on average, 2.60 goals a game on 28 shots a contest.

While the Los Angeles Kings are home tonight and boasting a two-game win streak as they beat the Ducks last time out. Phil Danault and Adrian Kempe each scored, while three other Kings registered an assist.

I cannot shake this feeling that the Kings smash Chicago tonight. Would be crazy to suggest the Kings score 7+ goals tonight so I won’t. Chicago is an awful 16-36 in their last 52 games. Chicago is also a dreadful 15-36 in their last 51 vs. a Western Conference team.

Stack up the King’s first line, and the first power-play unit, as they demolish Chicago by a final score of 5-1!

How about a full game stack between two teams going nowhere and already eliminated from playoff contention!

BUFFALO SABRES L1 at NEW JERSEY DEVILS L2

Tage Thompson L1 & PP1(FD-$7,500)(DK-$6,800)
Peyton Krebs L1 & PP2(FD-$3,800)(DK-$2,500)
Victor Olofsson L1 & PP2(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,500)

Nico Hischier L1 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$6,100)
Pavel Zacha L1 & PP1(FD-$4,200)(DK-$2,700)
Jesper Bratt L1 & PP1(FD-$6,600)(DK-$6,100) *GTD*

Yes, I am aware. I just heard you audibly call me crazy after reading these two team stacks. Guess what? It is the end of April, the Cup Playoffs are about to begin, and half the league is done and out. Nothing to play for and nothing to do. So, who on Earth would expect the highest total game over, goal-wise, to come from the Devils and Sabers tonight?

Buffalo is 29-38-11 overall and only 14-20-5 at home. They are in 6th place and already eliminated from the playoffs. On offense Buffalo is scoring, on average, 2.74 goals a game on 30 total team shots. The Buffalo power-play is a bright spot seeing how they are converting around 19.4% of the time. Which is top-12 in the NHL. The whopper here is the fact, on defense, the Sabers allowing 3.50 goals a game on around 35 total shot attempts.

On the flip side, the New Jersey Devils are 27-42-6 overall and a respectable 16-17-4 at home. On offense New Jersey is scoring, on average, 3.10 goals a game on about 32 total team shots. The Devils stink on the power-play though cashing in only 16.5% of the time. On defense, New Jersey is allowing around 3.75 goals a game on 31 total shot attempts.

Again, not sexy at all. This game does not have those bright lights feel. Truth be told, most folks will completely fade it! Do not make that mistake as I see an absolute goal-fest going down! Check out these two betting trends!

1. The over is 6-3-1 in Buffalo’s last 10 games!
2. The over is 6-4 in New Jersey’s last 10 games.

Absolutely bet the over(6.5 goals) in this one. As far as the winner goes, who knows? I am calling for a full game stack in New Jersey tonight. When all is said and done we’re looking at 10 to 11 total goals scored.
