The world is filled with an unfathomable number of choices, decisions, and outcomes. Too many to mention here plus this is just a hockey daily fantasy sports article. Jokes aside, the same could be said about personalities on social media. I find that these outcomes are heavily influenced based on our attitudes. What goes around comes around. We get what we give.

Each day is a new opportunity. Take full advantage of that idea. There are eleven total games today but trimmed down to seven games on the Main slate. Let’s dig on in!

ST. LOUIS BLUES L1 at Anaheim Mighty Ducks 10:30p EST

Robert Thomas L1 & PP1(FD-$6,200)(DK-$5,100)
Vlad Tarasenko L1 & PP1(FD-$8,500)(DK-$7,100)
Pavel Buchnevich L1 & PP1(FD-$6,500)(DK-6,100)

The Blues scored 5 goals and beat the Coyotes 5-4 in overtime last night. Nothing special there. However, tonight, they play the Ducks and on Fanduel this entire first line did not change in salary. Not one penny! While on DraftKings they all went down in pricing! Robert Thomas was $6,100 last night on DK and tonight he’s $5,100! Just a weird thought but that always gets my mind going, what do they all know that we don’t?

On offense St. Louis is scoring, on average, 3.45 goals a game to go with 31 shots as a team. The Blue’s power-play remains elite as they score 28.5% of the time on the man advantage! The Duck’s offense is scoring around 2.75 goals a game on 29.5 total team shots. St. Louis will have the Ducks signing the Blues as they only allow 2.5 goals a game!

St. Louis is 9-0-1 straight up in their last 10 games and 8-2 against the spread in their last 10.

Don’t think too much today. Stack up the Blues as they will win by a final score of 6-1!

FLORIDA PANTHERS L2 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning 7p EST

Sam Bennett L2 & PP2(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,600)
Claude Giroux L2 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$4,600)
Mason Marchment L2 & PP2(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,700)

The Lightning finish up a back-to-back tonight as they stay in state to battle the Florida Panthers! Tampa Bay is 47-22-8 overall and third in the Atlantic. The Panthers are also finishing up a back-to-back schedule tonight. Florida has gone Super Saiyan as look for 14 straight wins tonight. They have also clinched first place in the Atlantic Division with an overall record of 56-15-6 which is good for 118 points. Florida has also clinched the #1 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference!

The Lightning is scoring, on average, 3.40 goals a game while only allowing opposing teams to score 2.70 goals a game. Tampa’s power-play is humming(10th in NHL) as they score around 22.7% of the time and have tailed 45 total power-play goals! On the other hand, Florida’s offense is a well-oiled machine as they score, on average, 4.20 goals a game while only allowing 2.80 goals to opposing teams. Florida’s power play is no slouch either as they cash in 24.2% of the time(6th overall in NHL).

The Lightning are 5-1 in their last 6 games on the second half of a back-to-back. The Over has hit in Tampa’s last 4 games. While the Panthers are a staggering 45-9 in the last 54 games at home. Last by not least, the over has hit in 30 of the Panther’s last 51 home games. Do yourself a favor and tune into this one. This might just be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals!

The Florida Panthers are currently in God mode and they will beat Tampa by a final score of 5-2!

WASHINGTON CAPITALS L1 vs. Toronto Maple Leafs 7p EST

Evgeny Kuznetsov L1 & PP1(FD-$6,800)(DK-$6,100)
Alex Ovechkin L1 & PP1(FD-$9,300)(DK-$8,400)
Tom Wilson L1 & PP2(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,400)

Toronto heads to Washington tonight to tussle with Ovi and the Caps! On paper, this one may favor the Maple Leafs just based on overall record, points, and playoff seeding but hold your horses! Toronto is 51-21-7 overall with 109 points and has punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Washington is 44-23-11 overall with 99 points and has also clinched a playoff spot.

Auston Matthews currently has 58 goals and with only 3 games left he should get to 60! On the other side, Alexander Ovechkin has scored 50 times this year which he has done 9 total times in his career! I mean what more can we say about these two Eastern Conference foes?

Is there a chance both teams just play a base-type offense in fear of tipping their hands in advance of the Playoff match-up? Or, when you get two of the premier goals scorers in hockey amped up and they try to out-do each other? Either way, you slice it we are in for a treat! Both teams here have scored multiple goals the last nine times they have faced off. In those nine total games, the Caps hold the advantage at 5-4-0.

We should fully expect this one to come down to the wire. I can picture Washington being up 5-4 with under a minute left as Toronto pulls their goalie for that late-game advantage.

Regardless, stacking this game up will be expensive but worth it! Washington wins by a final score of 5-4!
