Anger is a powerful emotion. If used correctly it could be fuel to a productive fire. In most cases, it’s used as an awful tool to hurt others. Capturing anger and bottling it up is rarely beneficial. Dare I say, next to impossible! Yet, until the end of time people will try. That is literally the start of every single superhero movie.
Humans are creatures of habit. Repetition is so ingrained in the human mind that some will perform tasks without even realizing it. Therapy and psychology can be used for many specific reasons. The idea of therapy is to inevitably train your brain and change certain behaviors. We just must be willing to accept help and keep an open mind.

Gorgeous five-game slate tonight on the hockey schedule. Many ways to go. Many stacks to run with. Here is what I am thinking for tonight! Let’s dig in!
CALGARY FLAMES L1 at Anaheim Mighty Ducks 10p EST
Elias Lindholm L1 & PP1(FD-$7,900)(DK-$6,500)
Johnny Gaudreau L1 & PP1(FD-$9,300)(DK-$7,400)
Matthew Tkachuck L1 & PP1(FD-$8,000)(DK-$7,000)
Calgary stays on the Westcoast tonight as they battle the Ducks in Anaheim! Calgary is currently 1st in the Pacific with a record of 41-19-9. The Flames have 91 total points and lead the Oilers by only four points. Also, tied with the Wild in points in the Western Conference.
Calgary’s offense has been lights out this season. The Flames are scoring, on average, 3.50 goals a game on about 36 total shots a game. Johnny Gaudreau has 95 points which lead the team along with his 61 total assists. While first-line center Elias Lindholm is the lead dog in goals with 35. Lindholm has also fired 192 total shots on goal.
On the other side, the Ducks have lost four of their last five games which included a nasty 6-1 loss to the Oilers. Once again, two teams headed in opposite directions this season. Check out these recent betting trends and you tell me which way you’re leaning!
The Flames are 5-1 straight up in their last 6 games against the Ducks. Calgary is also 4-1 in their last 5 games on the road. The kicker, Anaheim is 1-12 straight up their last 13 games, not good. I hate to use the term ‘sure thing’ when it comes to DFS and sports betting but it’s tough not to think that tonight for Calgary.
Do not think twice, stack the Flames! Calgary will dominate the Ducks tonight by a final score of 6-1!

WINNIPEG JETS L2 vs. Detroit Red Wings 7:30p EST
Pierre-Luc Dubois L2 & PP1(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,800)
Blake Wheeler L2 & PP1(FD-$7,100)(DK-$5,700)
Kyle Connor L2 & PP1(FD-$9,200)(DK-$8,400)
Truth be told I could say, “The Red Wings travel to Winnipeg tonight with an awful defense and the Jets should have no issue scoring 18 goals.” However, that wouldn’t be fair to you who came to read Hot Puck. So, I guess I’ll add a stupid blurb.
Kyle Connor is the heart and soul of this Winnipeg offense. Mr. Connor leads the Jets in points(82), and goals(41) While seven of those goals have been the first power-play unit. Want one more outlandish nugget? Kyle Connor has fired a total of 283 shots on goal this season! Blake Wheeler is leading the Jets in assists with 42. While 16 of them have been with the first power-play unit!
On the opposing side, we have the Detroit Red Wings. Are they stocked with young potentially stud talent? Is their GM Steve Yzerman the right man for the job? Does the city of Detroit crave a Stanley Cup contender? The answer to all questions is yes! Yet, that isn’t all happening tonight. The Red Wings have also lost all their last five games.
Do not think twice about this one tonight. We stack the Jets and move on. The only question mark is the Wing’s offense. They can score goals, but they also give them up at an alarming rate! Detroit is also 9-21-3 on the road this season, not good.
Winnipeg will roll at home tonight against the Detroit Wings but a final score of 5-2!
ST. LOUIS BLUES L2 vs. Seattle Kraken 8p EST
Robert Thomas L2 & PP2(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,700)
Pavel Buchnevich L2 & PP2(FD-$6,300)(DK-$5,800)
Vladimir Tarasenko L2 & PP1(FD-$7,700)(DK-$6,800)
The Blues have played well after a slow start to the season. They also have their sites set on a third consecutive win tonight against the Kraken! As it stands now the Blues are third in the Central with an overall record of 39-20-10. Good enough for 88 points. They are but in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Last game out against the Coyotes their usual cast of studly firepower had themselves a game! Vlad Tarasenko scored twice and his second linemate Pavel Buchnevich scored once in addition to a pair of assists. If these two really get rolling they are the last team I’d want to face in the playoffs!
Overall, Mr. Tarasenko is leading the Blues in goals with 27. While second-line center Robert Thomas leads the Blues in assists with 44. The St Louis Blues are scoring, on average, 3.60 goals a game. While only allowing around 2.90 goals a game. I have mentioned several times this year to stack against the Kraken and more than once they have made me look silly. Not tonight, I see no possible way that the Blues don’t hang at least 4 goals at home tonight.
Have no fear and stack the Blues tonight at home as they win by a final score of 6-2!

LAS VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS L1 vs. Vancouver Canucks 10p EST
Jack Eichel L1 & PP1(FD-$7,300)(DK-$7,400)
Chandler Stephenson L1 & PP1(FD-$5,000)(DK-$3,700)
Evgenii Dadonov L1 & P1(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,400)
The Golden Knights are hunting for their sixth straight win, at home, as they welcome in the Vancouver Canucks. Vegas is currently fourth in the Pacific with an overall record of 39-28-4. Good enough for 82 points. The Canucks haven’t really been a stacked target of mine this year seeing how they have a little above average this year with a record of 32-28-10.
Chandler Stephenson is leading the Golden Knights in assists with 37. Vegas has been humming lately as they’ve scored, on average, 3.15 goals per game while allowing 2.90 goals a game. On the visitor’s side, the Canucks are scoring, on average, 2.80 goals a game while allowing about 2.85 goals a game.
This hockey game, to some, might be a fade given the similarities between the two teams. I am willing to take the risk in hopes Vegas asserts their recent winning ways. This one is up in the air to me final score-wise. Vegas could win 5-1 or Vancouver could win 4-1.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Vegas will win, at home, by a final score of 5-2
