Hot Pucking Stack

I rarely have empathy for folks who are all get and no give. The idea of being grateful can go a long way. For our attitude, mood, and even our physical well-being. When people are rude or angry daily it is harmful to not only them but also chips away at any meaningful relationships around the individual. Therefore, that nasty behavior spreads like wildfire. Yet, the nasty individual cannot see it since they are also selfish. Slowly but surely, they will lose every meaningful relationship around them.

It is like fighting the universe I was once told. I speak from experience. I am in no way trying to give out nonsensical advice as some poor shlub with an ax to grind. After years and years of continued therapy and support group meanings, I am finally learning why I act the way that I do. I used to be this man. I also used to be the woe is me pity party type of person. Again, there is no way to push folks away faster than this.

Once we let go and put just a personal touch of positivity into the universe things will change. Much like a diet or lifting weights once the results start to show it is what we crave! We go above and beyond to help others. We take that extra step in the right direction. Each step is a deposit into our fictitious karma bank. On bad days we can always make a withdrawal! There is no better feeling than stacking up good days and creating positive momentum!

As we turn our attention to today’s hockey schedule one thing is clear, it is easier to choose which teams to fade rather than to stack! Tonight is a seven-game Main slate. Here is what I have come up with for tonight! Let’s dig in!

CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS L1 vs. Arizona Coyotes 7p EST

Patrick Kane L1 & PP1(FD-$8,900)(DK-$7,400)
Alex DeBrincat L1 & PP1(FD-$8,300)(DK-$7,200)
Dylan Strome L1 & PP1(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,000)

My oh my have the tables turned! From DFS darlings to despised suckers bet! The Chicago Blackhawks battle the Arizona Coyotes Sunday evening. The Blackhawks are at home Sunday night amid a four-game losing streak after a nasty loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday 5-2. The Coyotes haven’t faired much better this season. Arizona has been one of the worst teams in the league this season. As harsh as it sounds their offense is horrible and only scoring around 2.5 three goals a game with a lackluster average of 25.7 shots per game.

The Coyote’s only saving grace was Clayton Keller. He has led this team in just about every offensive statistical category possible. Well, Clayton broke his leg last week and the wheels have really fallen off for the Yotes. They were forced to jumble up all their lines because of it and have had no success since. On the other hand, the Blackhawk’s defense has been the biggest bust this season allowing around 3.50 goals a game.

So where does this leave us for tonight’s game? As silly as it sounds Chicago is the better bad team in this one. Both teams are well out of playoff contention. While Chicago’s first line can still be dangerous. Take the Blackhawk’s money line and/or the puck line(-1.5) and stack their top line.

A rather boring game but still good for our bottom line. Chicago wins final score of 5-2!

NEW YORK RANGERS L2 vs. Philadelphia Flyers 7p EST

Andrew Copp L2 & PP1(FD-$5,100)(DK-$5,400)
Artemi Panarin L2 & PP1(FD-$7,400)(DK-$6,400)
Dryden Hunt L2(FD-$3,500)(DK-$2,500)

The Philadelphia Flyers will be playing in their 6th consecutive road game Sunday night. The Flyers are 21-35-11overall this season and have lost four of the last five games played which also includes three L’s in a row. The New York Rangers are 44-20-5 and locked into a playoff spot with 93 total points. Two teams heading in different directions this season

The Rangers have been middle-of-the-road this season on offense scoring around 3 goals a game to go along with 29 shots a contest. However, on defense, New York is only allowing 2.60 goals a game. No secret but, Artemi Panarin is leading the team in points(80), to go with a team-high 62 assists. While the Flyers are only scoring, on average, 2.5 goals a game.

New York playing Philadelphia tonight is pretty cut and dry. I think it’s a little gift! The Rangers should have their way in Madison Square Garden. The total has gone under in 4 of the last 5 games for Philadelphia. Also, the Flyers are only 1-4 straight up in their last 5 games.

Take the puck line, NYR -1.5, along with their first line. New York wins big final score 5-1!

STACK ADDITION! Frank Vatrano L1 & PP2(FD-$4,100)(DK-$3,700)

In Frank’s last five games he has scored 4 goals, accumulated one assist, and has racked up 13 total shots on goals. He has always seen some time on the Ranger’s first power-play unit. I think it wise to stack him up with the likes of Copp and Panarin.

Nascar DFS Xfinity

We have a race today! Per CUPharmaDFS “This weekend, NASCAR descends upon Richmond International Raceway, which is a 0.75-mile tri-oval with relatively flat banking.”

LAS VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS L1 at Vancouver Canucks 7p EST

Jack Eichel L1 & PP1(FD-$7,200)(DK-$7,500)
Chandler Stephenson L1 & PP1(FD-$4,800)(DK-$3,500)
Evgenii Dadonov L1 & PP1(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,100)

The Vancouver Canucks will play their second consecutive home game Sunday. While the Golden Knights have been spectacular as of late while riding a 4-game winning streak! Last time out the Vegas beat Seattle 5-2. In total the Canuck have lost 3 of their last 4 games. While starting goalie Thatcher Demko was awful in the net for Vancouver as he allowed four goals on 24 shots.

Vegas has been above average on offense this season scoring around 3.15 goals a game on a healthy 34 shots a contest. First-line center Chandler Stevenson has been an outstanding source of assists this year stacking up 36 total while that includes eight on the power play!

I may have told you a time or two to ride hot streaks! Ride the hot hands! Vegas is just that! Vegas is 4-1 straight up their last 5 games. The Golden Knights are also 13-5 straight up in their last 18 games against Vancouver.

I do like Vancouver’s second line if that matters but Vegas keeps rolling. Golden Knights win, 4-2!

STACK ADDITION! Jonathan Marchessault L2 & PP1(FD-$7,000)(DK-$6,700)

Mr. Marchessault is the king of the offense for Vegas checking in with 56 total points and a team-leading 27 goals. You are looking at about 19 to 20 minutes of ice time for Jon while he has also averaged 4.6 shots a goal per game in their last 5. Oh, Marchessault has also scored in back-to-back games! Can he make it three in a row? I think so!

DALLAS STARS L1 at Seattle Kraken 9p EST

Roope Hintz L1 & PP1(FD-$6,800)(DK-$6,600)
Jason Robertson L1 & PP1(FD-$8,100)(DK-$6,200)
Joe Pavelski L1 & PP1(FD-$7,300)(DK-$5,800)

The Dallas Stars are 38-25-3 on the season. While they carry a 17-16-2 road record. On offense, the Stars are averaging a stout 2.90 goals a game on an average of 31 shots. The Stars also boast a top-12 power-play unit as they cash in 22.2% of the time!

The Sea Kraken is scoring, per game, 2.65 goals while the Stars are allowing 2.95 goals a game. On paper, this game should be good! Should be close and I agree. The big discrepancy here is the fact Seattle is allowing opposing teams to score about 3.50 goals a game.

The Stars are 6-4 straight up in their last 10 games. While the Kraken is 4-5-1 straight up their last 10 games. I have a feeling this one will be close for about two periods. Maybe a 2-2 score heading into the third period but the better team, Dallas, assert themselves halfway through the final period.

I see no reason to believe why the Stars do not win tonight in Seattle. Dallas gets it done by a final score of 4-2!
