For the MLB lineup study, we are looking at the winners of the MLB Relay Throw 150 max and the MLB Four-Seamer 20 max tournaments on Draftkings and we are also looking at the MLB Squeeze (Or the Rally if there is no Squeeze) 150 max tournament on Fanduel.  Please note, I am only looking at Main slates for each site.

DRAFTKINGS LINEUP STUDY

Special note before I get started, I just wanted to thank everyone for reading this and all of the messages I receive telling me how I have helped.  The reason I do this is because of you and I love seeing the success you are all having. 

Lineup study is constantly evolving, however, and with that the article will be moving from a daily format to twice a week format.  Starting today, the articles will come out on Mondays and Thursdays. 

Last night was a 7 game slate and the 2 winning lineups used 13 batters and 2 pitchers combined.

Hitter Projections – Last night 13 out of 13 hitters had a projection over 5.  Total hitters with at least a 5 projection over 56 slates is 94%.  Last night 9 out of 13 hitters had a projection over 7.  Total over 56 slates is 65%.

Hitter Rating – Last night 10 out of 13 hitters had a rating over 50.  Total over 56 slates is 87%. Last night 8 out of 13 players had a Rating over 60.  Total over 56 slates is 51%.

Hitter 85% – Last night 9 out of 13 players had an 85% percentile rating of over 20. Total over 56 slates is 65%.

A or B – 6 out of 13 players had a Projected Tier or Value Tier rating of A or B.  Total over 56 slates is 65%.

Hitter wOBA last 50 PA – 9 out of 13 hitters had a wOBA over .300 in their last 50 plate appearances.  Total over 56 slates is 61%.  Hitter wOBA last 50 PA over .400 – 3 out of 13 hitters had a .400 wOBA over their last 50 plate appearances.  Total over 56 slates is 23%.

Hitter ISO over last 50 PA – 3 out of 13 hitters had an ISO of over .200 over their last 50 plate appearances.  Total over 56 slates is 34%.  3 out of 13 hitters had an ISO of over .250 in their last 50 plate appearances. Total over 56 slates is 23%. 

Stack size – Last night we saw a 4/3 and a 5/2 stack from the winners.  So far this season we have seen stack sizes of all types winning tournaments.  See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long breakdown.

Stack Gap (Main Stack) – Last night the winners used a 2 gap and a 1 gap in their main stacks of 3 or more. See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long totals.

Batting order of Main Stack – Last night the winners used 1,5,6,7 and 1,2,3,4,8 in their batting order for the main stacks of 3 or more players.  See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long totals of batting positions used in main stacks. 

Total Stack Rating (Stack Tab of the TROF Study Hub) – Main stacks of at least 3 players had a team stack rating last night of 58.42 and 54.38.   See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long totals.  Please note that this stat was updated recently, and data will be from 4/28/2022 forward in the chart.

Vegas Implied Run Totals Main Stacks – Main stacks of at least 3 players had a Vegas Implied Run Total of 3.75 and 3.71.  See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long totals.

Total Lineup Salary – Last night total lineup salary was $48,800 and $49,300 by the winners.  See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long totals.

Pitchers Salary – Pitchers combined salary used was $16,600 by the winners.  See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long totals. 

Individual Pitcher Salary – Last night the winners used salaries of $10,200 and $6,400 in their lineups.  See the chart at the bottom of the Draftkings section for the season long totals.

Pitcher Projection – The winning pitchers had Team Rise or Fall projections of 19.08 and 15.50.  Total over 56 slates is in the chart below.

Pitcher Rating – The winning pitcher had TROF Hub Ratings of 74.79 and 64.79.  Total over 56 slates is in the chart below.

Vegas Win % of Pitcher – The winning pitchers had Vegas Win% of 50 and 49.  Total over 56 slates is in the chart below. 

Vegas Opp run total – The winning pitchers had Vegas Opponent run totals of 3.79 and 3.75.  Total over 56 slates is in the chart below.

Pitcher K% – The winning pitchers last night had K% of 26.20 and 24.65.  Total over 56 slates is in the chart below.  

Pitcher Opponent K% – The winning pitchers had an opponent K% of 27.46 and 24.65.  Total over 56 slates is in the chart below.
