MLB DFS Study Hub Targets 4/19

MLB DFS

Welcome to the MLB DFS Study Hub Targets for the April 19th Main Slate on DraftKings and FanDuel! These games will start at 7:10 est or later. Ratings and ownership percentages will not be final until the final Study Hub update before lock. Let’s get into it!

Pitchers

Corbin Burnes – Best strikeout stuff on the slate and the Pirates have an implied run total under 3. No reason not to expect Burnes to dominate here. SP1 in cash games for me and will be in my GPP exposures on both sites.

Justin Steele – Steele is a mid range option that stands out due to how prone to the swing and miss Tampa Bay is. Tampa Bay is projected to strike out 26.71% and swing and mis 12.92% of the time in this matchup. Steele has shown plus strikout stuff and can defintely get the job done here. Watch for Wrigley wind as always.

Chris Archer (DraftKings Only) – Archer is underpriced relative to his strikeout rate and Kansas City’s lack of talent. This is a GPP only play and I will be monitoring news of a pitch count limit. Solid upside if he can go 5 strong innings.

I will be going LIVE for a MLB Pre-Lock members only stream in our discord tonight at 6 pm est! Use code TMAY for $10 off your first month! https://teamriseorfall.com/subscribe-now/

DraftKings Stacks

Philadelphia Phillies – Philly grades out as the top stack with the highest range of outcomes. Not a shocker given that they are in Coors with a ton of power in the lineup. Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos, J.T. Realmuto and Matt Vierling stand out here.

Boston Red Sox – Third highest implied run total on the slate and low ownership. Kikuchi does not possess elite strikeout stuff with a K% of 20.84% in this matchup. The stack is a bit pricy but, there is a lot of low owned power here. Xander Bogaerts, J.D. Martinez, Trevor Story and Bobby Dalbec stand out here.

FanDuel Stacks

Note: Philly grades out as the 2nd top stack of the day on FanDuel. They will be very popular tonight.

Minnesota Twins – The Twins are coming in as the top stack and are underowned on this slate. A lot of power potential here against a starting pitcher with a K% under 20%. Carlos Correa, Jorge Polanco, Miguel Sano and Gary Sanchez stand out here.

Oakland A’s – Oakland has been red hot to start the season! Baltimore has yet to announce a starting pitcher but, that’s typically bad news for Baltimore given their lack of talent. Sean Murphy, Seth Brown, Tony Kemp and Billy McKinney stand out here.

Top One Offs

Top one offs of the day! Max Muncy has the highest xISO at .311 and the highest xwOBA at .408. Looks like a solid one off for single entry tournaments and someone I will have exposure to in MME. All of these hitters have home run potential on this slate!

Good luck and let’s get paid!
