MLB DFS Study Hub Targets 7/12
Welcome to the MLB DFS Study Hub Targets for the July 12th Main Slate on DraftKings and FanDuel! These games will start at 7:05 est or later. Ratings and ownership percentages will not be final until the final Study Hub update before lock. Let’s get into it!
Gerrit Cole – Cole gets a favorable matchup against Cincinnati with an implied run total of 3.01. Cole has logged at least 6 strikeouts in 8 of his last 9 starts and has an elite strikeout projection of 33.7%. Cole is a cash lock on both sites for me and will be in my GPP core.Â
Spencer Strider – Strider draws a matchup against the Mets with an implied run total of 4.41. Typically, that num,ber is much too high for my liking but Strider has struck out 11 in 3 of his last 5 starts. The upside is way too high to ignore on this massive slate.Â
DraftKings Stacks
San Diego Padres – The Padres get a matchup in Coors Field with an implied run total of 5.62. The Padres are going to be heavy chalk today and the decision in GPPs will be whether or not you go to the Padres. They are the highest projected team on the slate with only Manny Machado about $4,000. Manny Machado, Jake Cronenworth, Luke Voit and Jorge Alfaro stand out here.Â
New York Yankees – The Yankees come in as the top ranked stack with an implied run total of 4.99. Ashcraft is projected for a K% of only 13.17% which should bode very well for a stacked Yankees lineup. Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, D.J. LeMahieu and Josh Donaldson stand out here.Â
FanDuel Stacks
Note – The Yankees and Padres stand out on FanDuel as well! San Diego is easily the highest owned team but, you can still get unique if you pair them with a lower owned stack. The Yankees are the top ranked stack!
Colorado Rockies – The Rockies get the benefit of Coors Field while being much lower owned than the Padres. Colorado is the third ranked stack with a massive ceiling in the range of outcomes. C.J. Cron, Charlie Blackmon, Ryan McMahon and Brenden Rodgers stand out here.Â
Top One Offs
Top one offs of the day! This list is easily accessible by going to the Batter Trends tab in the Study Hub. Matt Carpenter comes in with the highest wOBA at .597 and the highest ISO at .575. Adam Duvall looks to be the top value option on this list at $3,300 on DraftKings and $2,700 on FanDuel!Â
