MLB DFS Study Hub Targets 7/26

MLB DFS - Expert Analysis and Projections

Welcome to the MLB DFS Study Hub Targets for the July 26th Main Slate on DraftKings and FanDuel! These games will start at 7:05 est or later. Ratings and ownership percentages will not be final until the final Study Hub update before lock. Let’s get into it!

Shane McClanahan – McClanahan draws a matchup against Baltimore with an implied run total of 3.22. His elite strikeout stuff has shown all season with a K% of 35.7% for the 2022 season. Baltimore is striking out 24.4% of their plate appearances and Camden Yards is a much more pitcher friendly park than it used to be.

Spencer Strider – Strider should be a popular option today as he is underpriced on both sites with elite strikeout upside. The Phillies have an implied run total of 3.73 and they strike out 23% of their plate appearances. We should see 5-6 innings and 7+ strikeouts from Strider today.

DraftKings Stacks

Los Angeles Dodgers – The Dodgers are coming in under-owned against a volatile pitcher in Josiah Gray with an implied run total of 5.62. Gray has posted an xFIP of 4.18 in 2022 and the Dodgers lineup is stacked top to bottom. This is a great spot to get some low owned Dodgers.

Stack Targets – Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Jake Lamb and Justin Turner.

Colorado Rockies – The Rockies are back in Coors with an implied run total of 5.59. The Rockies are lower owned than the White Sox and benefit from the same hitting conditions and a high team projection. Kopech has struggled with walks and hasn’t shown the strikeout stuff that we are used to seeing from him.

Stack Targets – C.J. Cron, Charlie Blackmon, Connor Joe and Ryan McMahon.

FanDuel Stacks

Tampa Bay Rays – The Rays come in as the top ranked stack on FanDuel with an implied run total of 4.28. Spenser Watkins has only struck out 13.6% of the batters he’s faced in 2022 which bodes very well for a Tampa Bay lineup that struggles with strikeouts. The Rays only have 2 hitters priced at $3,000 or above.

Stack Targets – Brandon Lowe, Randy Arozarena, Isaac Paredes and Ji-Man Choi.

Toronto Blue Jays – The Blue Jays draw a matchup with St. Louis with an implied run total of 5.53. Andre Pallante is the scheduled starter for St. Louis and he has posted a K% of only 15.7% as a groundball pitcher. If the Jays can get some lift on the baseball, they should be in for a high upside day.

Stack Targets – Vladimir Guerrero Jr., George Springer, Alejandro Kirk and Lourdes Gurriel.

Top One Offs

Top one offs of the day! This list is easily accessible by going to the Batter Trends tab in the Study Hub. Matt Carpenter comes in with the highest wOBA at .573 and the highest ISO at .500. Three Dodgers make their way onto this list and look to be in a tremendous spot on both sites!

Good luck and let’s get paid!
