MLB DFS Study Hub Targets 7/27
Welcome to the MLB DFS Study Hub Targets for the July 27th Main Slate on DraftKings and FanDuel! These games will start at 6:40 est or later. Ratings and ownership percentages will not be final until the final Study Hub update before lock. Let’s get into it!
Kevin Gausman – Gausman gets a matchup against a St. Louis lineup without Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado with an implied run total of 2.98. Gausman is easily the highest projected pitcher on the slate and the strikeout numbers are there. I’ll have Gausman in cash and GPP today.
Max Scherzer – Scherzer gets a matchup with the Yankees with an implied run total of 2.94. Scherzer has the best strikeout stuff on the slate with a K% of 33.8% and a SwStr% of 15.3%.Scherzer has the stuff to dominate any lineup and he could still be an optimal play if he gives up a few runs.

DraftKings Stacks
Boston Red Sox – The Red Sox draw a matchup against Cal Quantrill with an implied run total of 4.55. Quantrill has posted a K% of only 15.1% in 2022 which bodes well for a Red Sox lineup with a lot of power and solid value options.
Stack Targets – J.D. Martinez, Xander Bogaerts, Jaren Duran and Christian Vazquez.
Toronto Blue Jays – The Blue Jays get a matchup with Adam Wainwright with an implied run total of 5.02. Wainwright has posted a K% of 19% in 2022 and the Blue Jays have elite power bats throughout the lineup.
Stack Targets – Vladimir Guerrero Jr., George Springer, Alejandro Kirk and Cavan Biggio.
FanDuel Stacks
Note – Boston and Toronto stand out on FanDuel as well! Toronto looks to be the top stack of the day on both sites.
Cleveland Guardians – Cleveland gets a matchup with Nathan Eovaldi with an implied run total of 3.95. Cleveland has only struck out 17.95% of their plate appearances and they have some hot power bats! Their range of outcomes and lack of ownership stand out on this slate.
Stack Targets – Jose Ramirez, Franmil Reyes, Andres Gimenez and Amed Rosario.
Top One Offs
Top one offs of the day! This list is easily accessible by going to the Batter Trends tab in the Study Hub. Aaron Judge comes in with the highest wOBA at .603 and the highest ISO at .619. This list features 4 Blue Jays, 3 Yankees and 3 Mets. These could be solid small stacks!
