High Priced

At the high end, you can’t go wrong with Paul Goldschmidt of the St. Louis Cardinals. He’s priced at $5900 on DraftKings, but he’s worth every penny. Goldschmidt has a ridiculous .498 wOBA with 16 home runs in his last 192 plate appearances against bottom-tier right-handers like Pittsburgh’s Vincent Velasquez.

His teammate Nolan Arenado is also a top-tier option at $5400, as he’s taken Miami’s Urena deep twice in their last 19 matchups.

Mid Priced

Moving down to the mid-priced range, Tyler O’Neill is an excellent choice at $4500. He’s projected to hit sixth in the lineup against Velasquez, and he’s been slugging .621 in his last 148 plate appearances against pitchers with a similar repertoire to Urena over the past two seasons.

Meanwhile, Bo Bichette is another strong option at $5800. He’s slugging 1.000 with two extra-base hits in seven at-bats against Detroit’s Rodriguez.

Value

If you’re looking for value plays, there are a few to consider. Tommy Edman is priced at just $4300 and is projected to hit ninth against Velasquez. Urena has allowed a slugging percentage of .613 against left-handed batters who hit for high average like Edman over the past two years, so he could be a sneaky source of value.

Brendan Donovan is another value play at $4600. He’s slugging .571 in his last 95 plate appearances against right-handers with low strikeout rates like Urena over the past two seasons.

Overall, there are plenty of great hitters to choose from on this five-game slate. Whether you’re looking for high-priced studs like Goldschmidt and Arenado or value plays like Edman and Donovan, there’s something for everyone. Good luck in your DFS contests!
