mlb dfs top stacks

Welcome to our MLB DFS Top Stacks for Monday 4/24/23. As always, we are here to provide you with our expert analysis and insights to help you create winning lineups.

Angles vs Ken Waldichuk

Leading the charge for the Angels will be none other than Mike Trout, who is always a solid pick for any lineup. In his last 19 plate appearances against left-handers who rely heavily on the fastball like the Athletics’ Ken Waldichuk, Trout has been slugging an impressive .812. And don’t forget about Shohei Ohtani, who has been red hot lately, slugging .580 in his last 182 plate appearances against left-handers with high flyball rates like Waldichuk.

But the Angels’ lineup is deep, with several other players poised for big performances. Hunter Renfroe has been on a tear against left-handers who rely heavily on the fastball, slugging .778 in his last 44 plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Taylor Ward has a favorable matchup against Waldichuk, who has allowed a slugging percentage of .735 against right-handed batters who hit for power like Ward over the last two years.

Gio Urshela, Luis Rengifo, Chad Wallach, Jake Lamb, Brandon Drury, Anthony Rendon, Zach Neto, Brett Phillips, and Matt Thaiss round out the rest of the Angels’ lineup.

Blue Jays vs Lance Lynn

If you’re looking for a reliable and high-performing lineup for your daily fantasy baseball roster, look no further than the Toronto Blue Jays’ lineup for their game against the Chicago White Sox. This lineup is loaded with talented hitters who are poised to have a big game against the White Sox’s Lance Lynn.

Leading the charge for the Blue Jays is Bo Bichette, who is projected to bat second and is a top-tier shortstop option for your lineup. Bichette has a favorable matchup against Lynn, with right-handed batters who hit the ball on the ground often like Bichette having an OPS of .921 against Lynn over the last two seasons. Expect Bichette to take advantage of this matchup and put up big numbers.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is another standout player in this lineup, projected to bat third. Guerrero Jr. has been on fire to start the season and shows no signs of slowing down. With right-handed starters having an ERA of 4.84 against the Blue Jays since last season, expect Guerrero Jr. to continue his hot streak and rack up fantasy points for your roster.

George Springer, projected to lead off, is another excellent option for your lineup. Springer has been hitting well at home, slugging .457 in 483 AB’s over the last year, and has a favorable matchup against Lynn.

Matt Chapman, projected to bat fifth, has hit two home runs against Lynn in his last 22 plate appearances against him. With Lynn’s struggles against right-handed batters who hit for power, Chapman is a strong play for your lineup.

Other players in this lineup worth considering include Daulton Varsho, Alejandro Kirk, and Kevin Kiermaier. While Varsho has been struggling lately, he has a good matchup against Lynn, and Kirk has been hitting well in his last 36 plate appearances. Kiermaier’s matchup data is limited, but the data available favors him.

Overall, the Toronto Blue Jays’ lineup is one of the strongest on the slate for April 23rd, with a combination of power and favorable matchups against Lynn. Don’t hesitate to stack your lineup with these talented hitters for the best chance of success in daily fantasy baseball.

Royals vs Tommy Henry

When building your daily fantasy baseball lineup for April 23rd, the Kansas City Royals present some intriguing options against Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Tommy Henry. The Royals’ top pick in the 2019 draft, Bobby Witt Jr., is a standout choice at shortstop. Witt Jr. has been crushing bottom-tier lefties like Henry over the last two seasons, slugging .517 in his last 32 plate appearances against them. With his talent and favorable matchup, Witt Jr. could be the cornerstone of your lineup.

Joining Witt Jr. is catcher Salvador Perez, who has also had success against lefties with a reliance on the slider and curve. In his last 16 plate appearances against such pitchers, Perez has slugged an impressive .625. Adding to the mix is Vinnie Pasquantino, who has been hot at the plate, boasting a .406 wOBA in his last 55 plate appearances.

While left-handed hitters MJ Melendez and Edward Olivares have been somewhat inconsistent, they still offer upside against Henry. Melendez has a .536 slugging percentage against soft-throwing lefties, while Olivares has hit for a high average against Henry’s type of pitching in the past.

Rounding out the options for Kansas City are Kyle Isbel, Matt Duffy, and Hunter Dozier. While Isbel has struggled recently, Dozier’s matchup data suggests he could be in for a good game. Duffy has been hitting well against bottom-tier left-handers and could be a sneaky value play.

It’s worth noting that Nicky Lopez has had trouble against left-handers with low strikeout rates, and Michael Massey is a low-cost option with limited potential. Freddy Fermin is also projected to have a quiet game.

Overall, the Royals offer several viable options for your DFS lineup against Henry and the Diamondbacks. With a mix of high-end talent and value plays, the Royals could provide a strong foundation for a winning lineup.

A’s vs Jose Suarez (value stack)

First up, we have Esteury Ruiz, who has a favorable matchup against left-handed pitcher Jose Suarez. While matchup data is limited, the signs point towards Ruiz having a strong outing. The A’s are not typically a team we look to stack, and the numbers show just tht as left-handed starters have an ERA of 3.24 against the Athletics since last season. That being said, I think they are in a good spot here today.

Next on the list is Jesus Aguilar, a right-handed batter who has struggled against Suarez in the past. However, Aguilar’s tendency to hit the ball in the air could work in his favor, especially against this left-handed starter. Shea Langeliers and Tony Kemp also have favorable matchups, with Langeliers having a low Well-Hit Rate but still projected to perform well, while Kemp has limited matchup data, but the signs favor him in this matchup today.

Other batters on our radar for the Oakland Athletics include Conner Capel, Jace Peterson, Brent Rooker, Jordan Diaz, Aledmys Diaz, Tyler Wade, and Kevin Smith. While some of these players have struggled in recent games or have limited data against Suarez, there is always the potential for a breakout performance.
