MLB DFS Top Stacks for Saturday 4/1/23
The Atlanta Braves are a great team to stack for Saturday’s games, especially against the Washington Nationals. The Nationals’ pitcher, Josiah Gray, has allowed a slugging percentage of .668 against top-tier hitters like Ronald Acuna and Austin Riley over the last two years. In addition, Matt Olson is slugging .629 in his last 116 plate appearances against right-handers who rely heavily on both the slider and curve like Gray over the last two seasons. The Braves have a lot of power hitters that can take advantage of Gray’s weaknesses, making them an excellent option for a stack on Saturday.
Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox are another great option for stacking on Saturday. They are playing against the Baltimore Orioles, and Dean Kremer is the projected starter for the Orioles. Kremer has allowed a slugging percentage of .602 against top-tier hitters like Justin Turner over the last two years. Alex Verdugo is another Red Sox hitter that has had success against Kremer in the past, slugging .714 with three extra-base hits in 14 at-bats. The Red Sox have a strong lineup that can exploit Kremer’s weaknesses, and they should be considered for stacking on Saturday.
The Houston Astros are always a strong team to stack, and they have a good matchup against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday. Lucas Giolito is the projected starter for the White Sox, and he has allowed a slugging percentage of .741 against left-handers like Yordan Alvarez over the last two seasons. Kyle Tucker is another Astros hitter that has had success against right-handers with high strikeout rates like Giolito, slugging .588 in his last 221 plate appearances against them. With a strong lineup that can take advantage of Giolito’s weaknesses, the Astros are an excellent option for stacking on Saturday.
The Cincinnati Reds are another team that could be a great option for stacking on Saturday. They are playing against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Rich Hill is the projected starter for the Pirates. Hill has allowed a slugging percentage of .555 against top-tier hitters like Tyler Stephenson over the last two years. Jake Fraley is another Reds hitter that could be a good option for stacking, as top-tier hitters like him have an OPS of .920 against Hill over the last two seasons. With some strong hitters in their lineup, the Reds are a solid choice for a stack on Saturday.
