MLB DFS Top Stacks for Saturday 4/29/23 Main Slate

mlb dfs top stacks

Welcome to the MLB DFS Top Stacks analysis for Saturday’s Main Slate on 4/29/23. Today’s slate features several exciting matchups and plenty of opportunities to build a winning lineup. So, let’s dive in and explore some of the best stacks to target for today’s slate.

White Sox vs Calvin Faucher

As the White Sox take on the Rays in Guaranteed Rate Field, all eyes are on their potent offense to deliver a top-notch performance against right-handed pitcher Calvin Faucher. With a K% of 22.1% and a BB% of 9.6%, Faucher has shown to be vulnerable against right-handed hitters. And this is where the White Sox stack shines.

Starting with Luis Robert Jr., who boasts a K% of 21.5% and an ISO of .140, the top of the order sets the stage for what could be a high-scoring game. Andrew Vaughn and Gavin Sheets follow suit, both with K% under 20% and ISO over .180, while Eloy Jimenez and Jake Burger provide the power with ISOs of .194 and .216, respectively.

Adding to the mix is Yasmani Grandal, who has an impressive walk rate of 9.5% and a solid xwOBA of .279. And if needed, Adam Haseley and Romy Gonzalez can provide some valuable production from the bottom of the order.

With the weather conditions favorable for hitting and the umpire known to favor moderate hitters, the White Sox stack has all the ingredients for a successful night at the plate. And with Faucher’s susceptibility against righties, this could be a prime opportunity for them to showcase their offensive firepower. So, expect the White Sox to come out swinging and deliver a top-notch performance in tonight’s game.

Rays vs Lance Lynn

If you’re looking for a top stack in today’s MLB DFS slate, the Tampa Bay Rays are worth considering. They are set to face off against the White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field, with a moderate hitters umpire. Calvin Faucher is slated to start for the Rays, and while his numbers against lefties are not great, he has been effective against righties with a high strikeout rate. Meanwhile, Lance Lynn is on the mound for the White Sox, and while he’s a tough pitcher, he has struggled against left-handed batters this season.

The Rays have some strong left-handed hitters in their lineup, including Brandon Lowe, Randy Arozarena, and Josh Lowe, who could take advantage of Lynn’s struggles. They also have the highly-touted prospect Wander Franco, who has been showing signs of life at the plate lately. The matchup against Lynn may be tough, but the Rays have the talent to put up a big offensive performance.

On the other side of the ball, the White Sox have some solid hitters as well, but they will be facing a tough righty in Faucher. However, Luis Robert and Eloy Jimenez are always dangerous, and could potentially put a dent in Faucher’s outing.

Overall, the Rays are a solid option for a top stack on today’s slate. Their left-handed hitters could be particularly effective against Lynn, and they have some upside potential with their young stars like Franco. Keep an eye on the lineup to see if any low-owned value plays emerge that could be used to differentiate your lineup in tournaments.

Rangers vs Jhony Brito

The Texas Rangers have a great opportunity to stack up some runs tonight as they face off against the New York Yankees. With the Yankees sending Jhony Brito to the mound, who has struggled against both left-handed and right-handed batters this season, the Rangers’ hitters are primed for success. Leading the charge for the Rangers is Marcus Semien, who boasts a .197 ISO and a .299 xwOBA against right-handed pitching this season. Nathaniel Lowe and Adolis Garcia are also solid options with their respective .189 ISO and .220 ISO against righties.

But don’t overlook the value plays in this stack, such as Travis Jankowski and Jonah Heim, who both have respectable xwOBAs of .268 and .300, respectively. Ezequiel Duran and Bubba Thompson are also intriguing low-owned options with strong ISOs of .101 and .068, respectively.

Opposing pitcher Nathan Eovaldi has been solid this season, but the Rangers have some left-handed bats that can do damage against him, including Nathaniel Lowe and Willie Calhoun. It’s worth noting that the Rangers have a higher wOBA against right-handed pitching compared to lefties, so stacking them against Eovaldi could pay off.

Overall, the Rangers’ stack is a strong option for tonight’s DFS slate. With a favorable matchup against a struggling pitcher and some power hitters in their lineup, they have the potential to put up some big numbers and provide a great return on investment.
