mlb dfs top stacks

In today’s article we’ll highlight the MLB DFS Top Stacks for Sunday 4/16/23. Whether you’re a seasoned DFS player or just starting out, this article will provide you with valuable insights and tips to help you construct a winning lineup. With a variety of matchups and players to consider, let’s explore the top stacks for today’s games and discover the best strategies for success.

Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox are gearing up to face off against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday, April 16th, 2023, and there are plenty of exciting DFS options to consider for your lineup.

Rafael Devers is definitely a player to keep an eye on. He’s been a consistent performer for the Red Sox this season, with an impressive OPS of 1.094 in just 15 at-bats over the last five days. He’s projected to score 10.62 DraftKings points at a salary of $6,300 and has a high DK rating of 93.48. Left-handed starters have had a hard time against the Red Sox since last season, with an ERA of 5.12, making Devers an even more enticing option.

Justin Turner is another player to consider. He’s projected to score 8.97 DraftKings points at a salary of $3,700, and he has a DK rating of 96.71. Turner has an impressive OPS of 1.056 in 18 at-bats over the last five days. Similar to Devers, Turner could take advantage of the struggles that left-handed starters have had against the Red Sox since last season.

Enrique Hernandez is another player to keep an eye on. He’s projected to score 7.59 DraftKings points at a salary of $3,600 and has a DK rating of 73.71. Hernandez has been slugging .597 against left-handed pitchers with a similar repertoire to Detmers over the last two years. However, Detmers has allowed a Well-Hit Rate of just 11.5% against hitters like Hernandez over the same period, so it’ll be interesting to see how this matchup plays out.

Overall, the Red Sox have a number of players who could make for a strong stack in Saturday’s DFS contests. Whether you’re looking for consistent performers like Devers or high-upside plays like Turner and Myers, there are plenty of options to choose from. So, put together your best lineup and get ready for a day of exciting MLB DFS action!

Philadelphia Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies are ready to take on the Cincinnati Reds today, and their batters are poised for success against starting pitcher Luis Cessa. Kyle Schwarber leads the way with a stunning slugging percentage of .710 in his last 228 plate appearances against right-handers with low strikeout rates, like Cessa. Trea Turner is also in great form, batting .308 in his last 65 at-bats this season.

Nick Castellanos boasts a wOBA of .390 in his last 219 plate appearances against right-handers who rely heavily on the slider, like Cessa, over the last two seasons. Meanwhile, J.T. Realmuto is a consistent performer in several matchup categories today.

Bryson Stott has been on a hot streak, batting .383 in his last 60 at-bats. And despite Cessa allowing a slugging percentage of .667 against right-handed batters who hit the ball on the ground often, like Alec Bohm, Bohm still has the potential to shine today.

Brandon Marsh has a tough matchup against Cessa, who has allowed an OPS of .857 against hitters like Marsh over the last two years. However, Marsh has a well-hit rate of 7.7% in his last five games. Jake Cave will have to step up his game, as he’s only batting .193 against right-handers with high groundball rates like Cessa over the last two seasons.

Garrett Stubbs and Edmundo Sosa have limited matchup data, but they both have favorable matchups against Cessa. Kody Clemens and Josh Harrison both have potential for success, but they’ll need to improve their recent performance.

Overall, the Phillies hitters have a 4-star average matchup against Cessa, and they’re poised to take advantage of it. Don’t be surprised if they put up big numbers today.

Cleveland Guardians

The Cleveland Guardians are set to take on the Washington Nationals and their left-handed starting pitcher, Patrick Corbin. While Corbin has had success against some batters in the past, the Guardians have a lineup full of talented hitters who are more than capable of breaking through his pitching.

Leading the charge for the Guardians is the talented third baseman, Jose Ramirez. Ramirez has consistently been one of the best hitters in the league and is projected to have a big game against Corbin, who has struggled against top-tier hitters like Ramirez in the past. With his quick bat speed and ability to hit for both power and average, Ramirez is a force to be reckoned with.

But Ramirez isn’t the only Guardian who poses a threat to Corbin. Steven Kwan, Amed Rosario, Andres Gimenez, Josh Bell, and Myles Straw all have favorable matchups against the left-handed pitcher. Whether it’s Kwan’s impressive road hitting, Rosario’s ability to make contact and find gaps in the defense, or Gimenez’s power against left-handers with low strikeout rates, each of these players brings their own unique skillset to the plate.

Even the lower-tiered batters on the Guardians’ roster have a chance to make an impact against Corbin. Mike Zunino has been slugging the ball with authority against pitchers with a similar repertoire to Corbin, while Oscar Gonzalez has shown an ability to hit against pitchers with that same style.

Of course, Corbin won’t make it easy on the Guardians. He’s had success against some of the batters in Cleveland’s lineup in the past, but the Guardians have shown that they can handle left-handed pitchers like Corbin. With their talented lineup and favorable matchups, the Guardians have a great chance to come away with a victory in this game.
