MLB GPP Picks for DraftKings and FanDuel 9-23

Starting Pitchers
Trevor Bauer- At $9,800 on DraftKings and $11,400 on FanDuel, Bauer is priced up for a matchup against Milwaukee. Bauer has put himself into NL Cy Young contention posting a K/9 of 12.18 and an xFIP of 3.30. Milwaukee has struggled offensively posting a wRC+ of 92 and a K% of 26.5%. We could see Bauer get up to the 14 strikeout mark in this game. I’ll have Bauer in tournaments.
Shane Bieber- At $10,200 on DraftKings and $11,700 on FanDuel, Bieber is priced up for a matchup against the White Sox. Bieber has been lights out in 2020 posting a K/9 of 13.94 and an xFIP of 2.06. The White Sox have a lot of power in their lineup but, they do strike out at a 24.8% clip. I expect Bieber to dominate as he has this whole season.
Sixto Sanchez- At $7,700 on DraftKings and $8,800 on FanDuel, Sanchez is priced in the mid-range for a matchup against Atlanta. Sanchez is more of a DraftKings play than a FanDuel play for me. Sixto has secured his spot at the top of the Marlins rotation posting a K/9 of 7.75 and an xFIP of 3.70. The Braves strike out at a 24.4% clip but, they have posted an ISO of .223. This will be a volatile play that could push your tournament lineup to the top of the board.

Stacks
Los Angeles Dodgers- The Dodgers have a matchup against Sean Manaea with an implied run total of 5.11. Manaea isn’t the power pitcher he once was posting a K/9 of 7.69 and an xFIP of 3.57. The Dodgers have been elite offensively posting a WRC+ of 121 and an ISO of .221. I expect the Dodgers to score early and often in this spot. Focus on Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, A.J. Pollock, and Chris Taylor.
New York Yankees- The Yankees have a date with Robbie Ray in Buffalo. Buffalo has played similar to Coors Field this season in terms of run production. Ray has struggled in 2020 posting a BB/9 of 7.74 and an xFIP of 5.92. The Yankees have gotten hot down the stretch posting a wRC+ of 120 and an ISO of 210. Free baserunners, high altitude, and a powerful lineup. Looks like a high ceiling play for tournaments. Focus on Giancarlo Stanton, Luke Voit, Aaron Judge, and Gleyber Torres.
San Francisco Giants- The Giants have a matchup against Ryan Castellani with an implied run total of 5.25. Castellani has struggled in 2020 posting a K/9 of 5.59 and an xFIP of 6.29. The Giants have been stellar on offense posting a wRC+ of 114 and an ISO of .183. I’m going to lean on the high total and Castellani’s inability to miss bats in this spot. Focus on Mike Yastrzemski, Alex Dickerson, Brandon Belt, and Evan Longoria.
