I’m going to highlight plays that have tournament winning upside. Let’s get into it.
Starting Pitchers
Yu Darvish- At $11,500 on DraftKings and FanDuel, Darvish is priced up for a matchup against Cincinnati. Darvish has been rock solid in 2020 posting a K/9 of 11.3 and a FIP of 2.01. The Reds are in the middle of the pack in wRC+ but, they have a lot of power. As long as Darvish can avoid the home run ball, he should dominate this lineup. Darvish will be the cornerstone of my pitching exposure.
Clayton Kershaw- At $10,500 on DraftKings and $11,000 on FanDuel, Kershaw is priced up for a matchup against Arizona. Kershaw has been elite in 2020 posting a K/9 of 10.3 and a FIP of 3.26. Arizona has struggled on offense all year with a wRC+ in the bottom 5 in the league. I don’t foresee Kershaw having any issues with this Diamondbacks lineup. I’ll have Kershaw in tournaments.
Dane Dunning- At $6,500 on DraftKings and $7,700 on FanDuel, Dunning is priced down for a matchup against Pittsburgh. I am more interested in Dunning on DraftKings than I am FanDuel. Dunning has gotten off to a strong start in his MLB career posting a K/9 of 11.6 and a FIP of 2.79. He struggled with command in his last start but, I look for him to get back on track on today’s slate. Pittsburgh has been pedestrian on offense with a wRC+ near the bottom of the league and little power in the lineup. This is a great spot to save salary for expensive stacks. I’ll have Dunning in tournaments.

Stacks
Los Angeles Dodgers- The Dodgers have a matchup against Taylor Clarke with an implied run total of 5.53. Clarke is not an overpowering pitcher by any means posting a K/9 of 8.9 and a FIP of 4.72. The Dodgers have been an elite offense all season with power threats throughout the order. I especially like this spot if the roof is open in Arizona. Focus on Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy, and Corey Seager.
Atlanta Braves- The Braves have a matchup against Pablo Lopez with an implied run total of 4.93. Lopez has been solid in 2020 posting a K/9 of 8.9 and a FIP of 2.55, which may scare the field off this spot. It bodes well for Atlanta that Lopez isn’t a high strikeout guy. I’ll lean on the high run total in this spot. Focus on Ronald Acuna Jr., Freddie Freeman, Marcell Ozuna, and Adam Duvall.
San Diego Padres- The Padres have a matchup against Antonio Senzatela with an implied run total of 5.22. Senzatela has struggled in 2020 posting a K/9 of 5.7 and a FIP of 4.3. Slam Diego has consistently hit all season and I do not expect that to change on today’s slate. The Padres should score early and often in this spot. Focus on Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado, Trent Grisham, and Mitch Moreland.
See ya in discord,
