Cash Picks
SP
Max Scherzer- At $10,400 on DraftKings and $11,200 on FanDuel, Scherzer is priced up against Philadelphia. Scherzer has pitched into the 6th inning in 5 out of 7 starts this year and 1 of the 2 that he didn’t, he was hurt. Scherzer can dominate any lineup and I expect a big strikeout day against the Phillies. I’ll lock Scherzer into my cash lineups.
Dinelson Lamet- At $9,900 on DraftKings and $9,300 on FanDuel, Lamet is priced up for a matchup against the Angels. The Angels have been average in 2020 posting a wRC+ of 102 and have an implied run total of 3.99. I’m going to lean on the total and consistency of Lamet in cash.
Hitters
Chicago Cubs- The Cubs have a matchup against Joe Musgrove with an implied run total of 5.54. Musgrove has not been a strikeout pitcher in the past posting a K/9 of 8.3 in 2019 and the Cubs have a massive total. I’ll lean on the big Cubs bats in this spot. Focus on Anthony Rizzo, Ian Happ, Javy Baez, and Kyle Schwarber.
San Diego Padres- Slam Diego has a matchup against Julio Teheran with an implied run total of 5.51. The Padres have posted a wRC+ of 124 and an ISO of .228. Teheran has been in and out of the Angels’ rotations due to his inability to get outs. I’ll take this high floor spot in cash games. Focus on Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado, Mitch Moreland, and Trent Grisham.

Walker Buehler- At $10,200 on DraftKings and $10,300 on FanDuel, Buehler is priced up for a matchup against Arizona. Buehler got off to a slow start in 2020 but, he found his command in his last start striking out 11 batters and walking 0. This is the Buehler we have seen in recent years. Arizona has struggled offensively posting a wRC+ of only 82. I look for him to dominate the Diamondbacks lineup.
Triston McKenzie- At $6,700 on DraftKings and $8,000 on FanDuel, McKenzie is at a reasonable price point against Kansas City. McKenzie is more of a DraftKings play than a FanDuel play me. Kansas City has posted a wRC+ of 91 and has an implied run total of 4.09. McKenzie will be a volatile play and could rack up a lot of strikeouts against the Royals lineup.
Stacks
Minnesota Twins- The Twins have a matchup against Reynaldo Lopez with an implied run total of 5.32. Lopez has struggled in 2020 posting a FIP of 7.02 and a BB/9 of 6.75. Minnesota has power up and down the lineup and I expect them to score early and often in this spot. Focus on Nelson Cruz, Max Kepler, Eddie Rosario, and Jorge Polanco.
Atlanta Braves- The Braves have a date with Mike Kickham and the Red Sox bullpen. Kickham hasn’t seen MLB action since 2014 and has been a below-average strikeout pitcher in MiLB. I don’t anticipate Atlanta struggling to score in this spot. Docus on Ronald Acuna Jr., Marcell Ozuna, Freddie Freeman, and Dansby Swanson.
