Clayton Kershaw- At $10,100 on DraftKings and $10,900 on FanDuel, Kershaw is priced up for a matchup against Arizona. Arizona has struggled offensively posting a wRC+ of 83 and an implied run total of 3.12 indicates that those struggles should continue. Kershaw should cruise through 6 innings in this spot. I’ll be locking in Kershaw in cash games.

Mike Clevinger- At $8,500 on DraftKings and $9,400 on FanDuel, Clevinger is at a reasonable price point for a matchup against the Angels. Clevinger is underpriced relative to his talent level. He posted a K/9 of 12.07 and a FIP of 2.49 in 2019. A change of scenery should do Clevinger well and I expect a high floor in this spot.

Hitters

Philadelphia Phillies- The Phillies have a matchup against Anibal Sanchez with an implied run total of 5.99. Sanchez has struggled in 2020 posting a K/9 of 6.90 and a FIP of 6.08. I’ll lean on the high total for cash games. Focus on Bryce Harper, Jay Bruce, J.T. Realmuto, and Rhys Hoskins.

Los Angeles Dodgers- The Dodgers have a matchup against Luke Weaver with an implied run total of 5.38. The Dodgers have been elite in 2020 posting a wRC+ in 118 and Weaver isn’t a dominant pitcher by any means. Focus on Mookie Betts, A.J. Pollock, Joc Pederson, and Corey Seager.

Taijuan Walker- At $4,700 on DraftKings and $9,200 on FanDuel, Walker is clearly a DraftKings play. On DraftKings, Walker is clearly underpriced and has shown he can rack up 7 to 10 strikeouts in an outing. Boston has been mediocre posting a wRC+ of 93 and a K% of 23.7% in 2020. He only needs to manage the damage to hit value. On FanDuel, he’s overpriced for my liking. I will have high exposure to Walker on DraftKings.

Dylan Cease- At $9,100 on DraftKings and $8,900 on FanDuel, Cease is at a reasonable price point for a matchup against Kansas City. Kansas City has been pedestrian offensively posting a wRC+ of 91 and a K% of 23.9%. Cease has consistently racked up 5 strikeouts in his outings and this could be a spot that he has a ceiling game. I’ll have some shares of Cease in tournaments.

Stacks

New York Mets- The Mets have a matchup against J.A. Happ in a Subway Series rematch. Happ has been bad in 2020 posting a K/9 of 4.95 and a FIP of 6.15. Happ did dominate the Mets last time out but, I won’t fall victim to recency bias in this spot. Focus on J.D. Davis, Pete Alonso, Michael Conforto, and Robinson Cano.

Toronto Blue Jays- The Bue Jays have a matchup against Martin Perez with an implied run total of 5.25. Perez has been below average in 2020 posting a K/9 of 6.11 and a FIP of 5.07. Toronto has a lot of right-handed power and the high total suggests they should excel in this spot. Focus on Vlad Guererro Jr., Teoscar Hernandez, Randal Grichuck, and Johnathan Villar.
