Welcome back, everyone! This MLB Top Stacks article will be a daily Article here at Team Rise or Fall, where I will do my best to highlight my favorite stacks of each day for Fanduel and Draftkings. At the end of the article, below my favorite stacks, I will also list our Top Ranked Players at each position from our MLB Rankings Page.

MLB Top Stacks (Quick Overview)
Happy Friday everyone! We’ve got a massive 14 game MLB slate to end the week. If you look at the table above, you can see the Blue Jays are ranked #1 on this first run of the MLB Study Hub this morning. Their matchup vs Angels left hander Ross Detmers is a good one, but, it will be interesting to see who ranks #1 closer to lock as lineups are announced.
Phillies vs Pirates RHP Bryse Wilson
Bryse Wilson has had a rough year so far. Entering tonight’s game he has a 5.07 xfip with only a 15% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters is where he’s had his most trouble. So far this year he has allowed a 411 woba 273 iso and a 53% hard contact rate vs left handed hitters.
Kyle Schwarber is one of the top left handed power hitters in the game, and today’s matchup is elite for him. Since the start of the 2021 season Schwarber has a 537 xwoba 300 iso and 46% hard contact rate agianst right handed pitchers
Bryce Harper should be back today, he’ll be a top option as well. This season Harper has a 423 woba and 311 iso against right handed pitching. J.T. Realmuto crushes right handers as well. Since the start of the 2021 season Realmuto has a 403 xwoba 181 iso and 44% hard contact rate
Rhys Hoskins (450/233/43%) and Nick Castellanos (465/210/45%) are the other options I’ll be targeting here for the Phillies. The 1 through 5 in the order should be able to do some damage in this matchup tonight.
White Sox vs Diamondbacks LHP Tommy Henry
Diamondbacks left hander Tommy Henry has a tough matchup tonight against a White Sox team that ranks 2nd in the MLB in batting average and 6th in wOBA vs left handed pitching. This season Henry has faced 79 right handed hitters and he has allowed a 191 iso 43% fly ball rate and 42% hard contact rate
Jose Abreu has historically hit left handed pitching very well. Dating back to the start of the 2021 season, Abreu has 490 xwoba 266 iso and 45% hard contact rate vs lefties. Luis Robert has elite numbers against left handed pitching as well. Dating back to the 2021 season he has a 498 xwoba 270 iso and a 45% hard contact rate. AJ Pollock (478/252/48%) and Andrew Vaughn (454/190/42%) are very interesting options as well.
If you’re looking for a punt option to fit in other big bats, Romy Gonzalez is min salary on DK and FD tonight. Since the 2021 season (only 15 at bats) he has a 440 woba 286 iso and 60% hard contact rate against left handed pitching. I don’t know if he’ll be in the lineup, and obviously the sample size is super small, but he may be worth a flyer

Red Sox vs Rays LHP Ryan Yarbrough
Rays left handed Ryan Yarbrough has been really good and also really bad at times this season. Since 2021 against left handers hitters he’s damn near elite only allowing a 251 woba 089 iso 25% hard contact rate and a very solid 26.3% strikeout rate. Against right handed hitters however, he has struggled, allowing a 337 woba 206 iso 38% fly ball rate 36% hard contact rate and a strike out rate of only 15.8%
J.D. Martinez has been a monster vs left handed pitching this year. He has a 483 xwoba 229 iso and 50% hard contact rate this season vs lefties. Xander Bogaerts has similar numbers with a 439 woba 186 iso vs lefties this year.
Enrique Hernandez since the start of the 2021 season has a 410 xwoba and 219 iso vs lefties, while Rob Refsnyder has a 466 xwoba and 151 iso vs lefties. These two could provide some salary relief for you tonight and also provide enough pop to go yard in this matchup
Astros vs Orioles RHP Kyle Bradish
Orioles right hander Kyle Bradish enters tonight’s game really struggling against right handed hitters. Since the start of the 2021 he has allowed a 425 woba 247 iso 38% fly ball rate and 49% hard contact rate against right handers.
Alex Bregman has a 353 woba 194 iso 44% hard contact rate against right handed pitchers, while Jose Altuve has a 348 woba 201 iso and a 37% hard contact rate. Both are extremely viable in this matchup today against a pitcher that struggles so much vs right handed hitters.
Yordan Alvarez bats left handed and his numbers against right handed pitchers are off the charts. Since 2021 Alvarez has a 400 woba 300 iso and 51% hard contact rate vs righties. He’s an ELITE play tonight in this matchup, despite the fact that Kyle Bradish is better against left handers.

These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’ll be using the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions
Something I like to do with this, is to give these players a THUMBS UP or 2, or 3, in Fantasy Cruncher so I can get more exposure to them throughout my lineups
