Top MLB DFS Stacks

Welcome back, everyone! This MLB Top Stacks article will be a daily Article here at Team Rise or Fall, where I will do my best to highlight my favorite stacks of each day for Fanduel and Draftkings. At the end of the article, below my favorite stacks, I will also list our Top Ranked Players at each position from our MLB Rankings Page.

If you have any questions hit me up in the Rise or Fall VIP Discord chat send me a message @CeeGee and we can chat one-on-one about your process.

I appreciate you taking time out of your day to check out the article 🤟❤💯

We have recently added Individual Sport memberships to our offerings here at Rise or Fall. If you would like to subscribe for an NFL Monthly or NFL Weekly without access to any of the other sports you now have that option.

All memberships come with Discord Access, however, only the Monthly All Access for $39.99 comes with the $20 monthly credit to Fantasy Cruncher

We have a small 6 game slate today, and currently the top ranked stop on this first update of the MLB Study Hub is the Blue Jays, in Boston, against right hander Kutter Crawford. The matchup is a great one and I’m sure we’ll see plenty of Blue Jays mentioned below.

Keep on eye on the Rise or Fall Discord as we get later in the day and more lineups get confirmed. I have a feeling the Blue Jays will remain highly ranked but we’ll have to see if they stay in the #1 spot because there are a few other great spots I’m seeing tonight.

Phillies vs Reds RHP Justin Dunn

Reds right hander Justin Dunn has not pitched much this season, only facing 38 left handed and 23 right handed batters all year, so, I’ll take a look at his numbers since the start of the 2021 season to try and get a better pitcher of today’s matchup with the Phillies

Since 2021 Justin Dunn has a 6.14 xfip and a 21.3% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters he has allowed a 350 woba 202 iso 42% fly ball rate and a 50% hard contact rate. His numbers are relatively the same against right handed hitters where he has allowed a 182 iso 54% fly ball rate and a 39% hard contact rate in the same time frame

Kyle Schwarber pops to the top of the list in this matchup. The left handed slugger has crushed right handed pitching since 2021 with a 537 xwoba 300 iso and 46% hard contact rate. The downside with Schwarber and most power hitters, is that he has a high 29.5% strikeout rate. When he makes contact however, his average exit velocity off the bat is great than 95 mph 51% of the time. Remember that screaming Baseball cartoon?

Rhys Hoskins doesn’t bat left handed, but, I don’t mind that here. We see Dunn allows a 182 iso 54% fly ball rate and 39% hard contact rate vs right handed hitters so Hoskins is clearly in play here. Since 2021 Hoskins has a 450 xwoba 233 iso and a 43% hard contact rate vs right handed pitching

J.T. Realmuto is on the short list of “Best Hitting Catchers” in all of baseball. Since 2021 he has a 341 woba 181 iso and 44% hard contact rate against right handed pitching. If you’re playing on Draftkings and you need to fill your “Catcher” position, Realmuto should be on your radar in your Phillies stacks

Blue Jays vs Red Sox RHP Kutter Crawford

Red Sox right hander Kutter Crawford enters tonight’s matchup with a 4.93 xfip and 22.8% strikeout rate since 2021. Against left handed hitters he has really struggled, allowing a 389 woba 310 iso 50% fly ball rate and 43% hard contact rate. Against right handed hitters he allows a 41% fly ball rate and only has a 19% strikeout rate

George Springer bats right handed, but, I still like his matchup here even though Crawford is better vs right handed hitters. Since 2021 Springer has a 410 xwwoba 258 iso and 40% hard contact rate against right handed pitching.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., is another Blue Jay that doesn’t bat left handed, but, there is no way I’m avoiding him if I’m stacking Blue Jays tonight. Since the start of the 2021 season Vlad has a 474 xwoba 272 iso and 46% hard contact rate vs right handed pitching.

Cavan Biggio is a left handed batter, but, his numbers are not on par with some of the other right handed mashers in this Blue Jays lineup. That being said, with how bad Cutter Crawford is against left handed hitters, I still like Biggio here. Since 2021 he has a 348 xwoba 157 iso and 40% hard contact rate against right handed pitching.

This Blue Jays lineup is so loaded, feel free to mix in Lourdes Gurriel, Alejandro Kirk and Teoscar Hernandez into your Blue Jays stacks tonight.

Are you ready to dominate?

White Sox vs Orioles RHP Jordan Lyles

Nearly the entire White Sox lineup is in play here tonight against Orioles right hander Jordan Lyles. Since the start of the 2021 season, Lyles has a 5.11 xfip and a 19.3% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters he has allowed a 346 woba 222 iso 43% fly ball rate and a 42% hard contact rate. Against right handed hitters, he is just slightly better, allowing a 335 woba 170 iso and a 45% hard contact rate

Since the start of the 2021 season Jose Abreu has a 412 xwoba 167 iso and 46% hard contact rate against right handed pitching. One spot in the order before Abreu is Luis Robert, who, since the start of the 2021 season has a 407 xwoba 159 iso and 44% hard contact rate.

Over the last 30 days Gavin Sheets has been on a tear. In that span he has a 452 xwoba 224 iso and 40% hard contact rate against right handed pitching. Mix and match the rest of the White Sox AJ Pollock, Andrew Vaughn, Yoan Moncada as you see fit in your White Sox stacks tonight.

Mets vs Rockies RHP Ryan Feltner

The Rockies are taking there terrible pitching staff on the road outside of Coors Field this week to New York City. Tonight they will start right hander Ryan Feltner who has numbers so bad that you might think he pitches in Coors Field every time he starts

Since the start of the 2021 season Feltner has a 5.23 xfip and a 19% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters he has allowed a 337 woba 232 iso 47% fly ball rate and a 45% hard contact rate. Against right handed hitters he has been equally bad, allowing a 374 woba 238 iso and a 44% hard contact rate.

Pete Alonso is in an elite spot here tonight vs Feltner. Since the start of the 2021 season, Alonso has a 412 xwoba 240 iso and 39% hard contact rate against right handed pitching. Daniel Vogelbach is a left handed hitter and his matchup is just as good vs Feltner. Since 2021, Vogelbach has slugged a 432 xwoba 239 iso and 44% hard contact rate. These two guys will be my primary targets in my Mets stacks tonight.

Starling Marte (357157/39%) and Francisco Lindor (342/186/40%) will be my secondary targets here. Their numbers are not as eye popping as those of Alonso and Vogelbach but they are both great hitters facing a very sub par right hander tonight.

Rankings Today

These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’ll be using the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions

Something I like to do with this, is to give these players a THUMBS UP or 2, or 3, in Fantasy Cruncher so I can get more exposure to them throughout my lineups
