MLB Top Stacks (Quick Overview)

Welcome back everyone, we have a large 12 game slate to attack on this Tuesday evening. Currently we have the Braves ranked as the #1 stack in their matchup against Rockies right hander Jose Urena. Keep an eye on the lineups as they come in and be sure to check out or MLB Stacks tab closer to lock as these rankings could change throughout the day.

Brewers vs Pirates RHP Mitch Keller

Mitch Keller has been up and down for the last 2 seasons. Entering tonight’s game he has a 4.87 xfip and a 19.1% strikeout rate. Against left handed hitters, he has allowed a 364 woba and 40% hard contact rate, while, against right handed hitters he has allowed a 344 woba 161 iso and 44% hard contact rate.

This season the Brewers have several hitters who have done serious damage against right handed pitching. I’ll highlight a few of them below
– xwoba / iso / hc%

Willy Adames – 490/252/41%
Hunter Renfroe – 461/263/43%

Over the last 2 years, Christian Yelich has been one of the best hitters in the league vs right handed pitching. In that span he has a 346 woba 144 iso and 45% hard contact rate

Yankees vs Angels RHP Mike Mayers

The Yankees have a “scary” good matchup tonight vs Mike Mayers (see what I did there?). Since 2021 Myers has allowed a 213 iso 53% fly ball rate and 40% hard contact rate to lefties, while also allowing a 186 iso 37% fly ball rate and 43% hard contact rate to righties.

Since 2021, the Yankees have a handful of guys we can target tonight

Aaron Judge – 404/297/50%
Giancarlo Stanton – 359/268/43%
Anthony Rizzo – 332/223/37%
Andrew Benintendi – 334/140/42%

Mix and match Josh Donaldson, DJ LeMahieu, Oswaldo Cabrera as you see fit in your Yankees stacks tonight

Are you ready to dominate?

Pirates vs Brewers RHP Jason Alexander

The Pirates have a juicy matchup today against Brewers RHP Jason Alexander. Entering tonight’s contest, Alexander has a 5.25 xfip and only a 11.7% strikeout rate since the start of the 2021 season. Against left handers he has struggled tremendously, allowing a 399 woba 266 iso and 40% hard contact rate

My top target whenever the Pirates are in a good matchup is Bryan Reynolds. Since the start of the 2021 Reynolds has a 364 woba 227 iso and 41% hard contact rate against right handed pitching. He’s the guy I want in all of my Pirates stacks tonight.

Ben Gamel and Oneil Cruz are targets of mine, as well as Jack Suwinski. The Pirates are usually very low owned, which makes them a great tourney stack when they have a good matchup like they have today.

Twins vs Red Sox RHP Kutter Crawford

Kutter Crawford has awful numbers dating back to the start of the 2021 season, especially against left handed hitters. Since 2021 he has allowed a 383 woba 304 iso 48% fly ball rate and 42% hard contact rate to lefties.

Max Kepler since the start of the 2021 season has a 383 xwoba 186 iso and 39% hard contact rate vs right handed pitching. The matchup couldn’t be much better than it is today for him to go yard

Carlos Correa, Luis Aaraez, Jake Cave and Nick Gordon are my other Twins I’ll be looking to target in this matchup today.

Rankings Today

These rankings are not site-specific and are intended to give you a solid pool of players to build your lineups from. I’ll be using the standard positions, Catcher through Outfield in these rankings so be aware of that if you’re constructing teams on Draftkings where some players can play multiple positions.

Something I like to do with this, is to give these players a THUMBS UP or 2, or 3, in Fantasy Cruncher so I can get more exposure to them throughout my lineups
