The NBA Building Blocks for DraftKings and FanDuel Lineup Building on New Year’s Day rolling out now. There are three PG’s that I think are all viable slate breakers. It was hard to decipher which one might be the key to victory but I went with Kyrie Irving on FanDuel. I believe his 34 minutes, 34% usage rate, and 27 shots he took from the field is easy enough for him to replicate. I also expect him to make more than 10 FG’s if he duplicates those numbers in the second game against Atlanta this week. These two teams scores over 280 points in their first matchup.
On DraftKings, Nikola Jokic is my slate breaking target as I think he’ll be lower owned due to the rest of the studs that are available and the affordable price tag on Luka Doninc at just over $10K. Jokic is playing like an 11K player and might have the highest current floor/ceiling combination on the slate. In MME, I think you can move away from him a bit. But in a SE, basically what the Building Blocks are best for, I think he might be the key on DraftKings.
