NBA DFS Picks on Draftkings for Saturday 01/07/23
Welcome to our NBA Fanduel slate preview for Saturday’s games! It looks like this might not be a slate with many clear value plays, so it may be a good idea to go for a balanced lineup build.
Due to the fact that most of the injuries on this slate are to players who have already missed a significant amount of time, the prices of other players have been adjusted. As a result, you may need to include a “riskier” value player in your lineup
Let’s take a closer look at the available players and see who stands out as the best options for your DraftKings lineup.

Draftkings Top Picks for Saturday 1/7/23
Guards
In today’s DraftKings slate, there are a few standout players at the guard position.
Luka Doncic is the top option tonight despite a high salary of $12,700 and a projection of 63.65 points. His matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans could be impacted by a potential blowout, but Doncic has been a consistent performer this season.
Jose Alvarado is expected to be a highly sought-after value pick due to the absences of McCollum, Ingram, and Zion.
Spencer Dinwiddie has consistently played a significant number of minutes and is the second-highest scoring option on Dallas after Doncic
Russell Westbrook has performed better since AD’s injury, but it is uncertain if his playing time will be limited due to back-to-back games.
De’Aaron Fox is a solid GPP option, as he has scored 42 or more fantasy points in 4 of his last 5 games and has a favorable matchup against the Lakers. His salary is $8600 and his DraftKings projection is 45.19.
Zach LaVine is another player to consider, although there is some concern about the Chicago Bulls limiting his minutes in a back-to-back game. LaVine has been playing well recently, scoring a high number of points in his last game.
Tim Hardaway Jr. is a player to consider due to his consistently high minutes and shot attempts. However, his performance can be inconsistent.
Klay Thompson is a player with a high ceiling, but his high salary of $7,900 may not make him the most attractive option. However, when his shots are falling, he can score a significant number of points.

Forwards
LeBron James, low owned? Could provide big leverage on a small slate due to his low ownership percentage and the potential for a strong performance after not playing many minutes in his last game
DeMar DeRozan is a player to consider due to his favorable matchup and affordable salary of $9,000. Despite some poor shooting in his last two games, DeRozan has the potential for a bounce-back performance.
Naji Marshall is another player to consider, particularly as a core option. With Ingram and Zion out, Marshall has seen a 3.2% increase in usage and played well in his last game.
Harrison Barnes is a player to consider due to his consistent scoring in the 30s in back-to-back games and a strong matchup. However, he does not have a high ceiling.

Center
Nikola Vucevic is a player to consider in today’s DraftKings slate due to his impressive triple double performance on Friday and the weakness of his position.
Domantas Sabonis is another player to consider, as he has scored 45+ fantasy points in each of his last ten games. He is expected to dominate against the Lakers and has a salary of $10,300.
Thomas Bryant is a player to consider due to his strong performance in the absence of Anthony Davis, consistently scoring between 34-46 fantasy points in his last four games.
Wendell Carter is another player to consider due to his increasing role with Isaac, Bol, and Okeke out.
Jonas Valanciunas is a risk/reward option to consider, particularly with the thinness of the roster.
Christian Wood has solid production per minute, although his role has been declining again.
