Notable Vegas Totals
Atlanta Hawks @ Brooklyn Nets O/U 239
This should be a good one. I would anticipate Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant playing in this one now since they were just resting and are not currently on the injury report. The Nets’ rotation should go back to normalize a bit with only Spencer Dinwiddie having minutes to replace. Really hard to predict who will get those minutes but, I would focus on giving a usage bump to Caris LeVert.
The Hawks’ rotation could look similar to Monday night when Gallinari was out. We saw bumps for De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish, and Bogdan Bogdanovic. However, Gallinari being out will not make any of these players a lock as they will only get slight bumps in minutes. Trae Young is in play here for sure. I would imagine that he would have to efficiently get a double-double for this game to remain competitive.
Los Angeles Lakers @ San Antonio Spurs O/U 230
The Lakers appear to be at full strength besides the absence of Alex Caruso. LeBron James is currently on the injury report with an ankle injury but, I expect him to be active. For me, I’m only interested in LeBron and Anthony Davis in this spot. They are the only consistent fantasy producers on this team. Unless one of them is inactive, I will be focusing on the stars.
Pace Up Spots
Los Angeles Lakers- The Lakers take on a Spurs team that currently ranks top 5 in pace for the NBA season. Again, my focus will be primarily on LeBron James and Anthony Davis in this one. This feels like a spot where Anthony Davis explodes for a ceiling game in a matchup against LaMarcus Aldridge. If you’re looking for an additional target for MME, I would look to Dennis Schroeder.
Miami Heat- We have deja vu for the Miami Heat as they take on a Bucks team that ran them out of the building the night before. The Bucks currently rank top 10 in pace and have been making it rain from downtown, If Jimmy Butler is out again, expect the same rotation that we saw last night. I am most interested in Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, and Goran Dragic.
Dallas Mavericks- The Mavericks take on a Hornets team that ranks top 7 in pace for the season. It’s really hard to envision anyone on the Hornets stopping Luka Doncic in this one. I will have massive amounts of him in all contests. I’m expecting a triple-double type game out of Luka. If Josh Richardson is out, I would give a bump to Tim Hardaway Jr. and Dorian Finney-Smith.

Key Injury News
Ja Morant- Morant will be out for 3-5 weeks with a high ankle sprain. I am giving bumps to Tyus Jones, Dillon Brooks, and Grayson Allen. Watch for the starting lineup in this one.
Kristaps Prozingis- Nothing new here. Kristaps will be out for an extended period of time. Expect the usual run for Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell.
Jimmy Butler- Butler is a game-time decision with an ankle injury. I’m not really sure if he will play or not but if he is out, we can expect a similar rotation to what we saw last night.
Kawhi Leonard- If Kawhi is out, I am giving bumps to Paul George, Lou Williams, and Luke Kennard. The bulk of my interest will be in Paul George.
Early Targets
Luka Doncic- Doncic against a bad Hornets team that likes to run the floor? This has triple-double written all over it. I’m expecting Doncic to dominate the usage for the Mavericks and he will be where I start my cash lineups for today’s slate.
Anthony Davis- This is more of a tournament option for me. Davis has been a little disappointing but, he gets a matchup against a Spurs frontcourt that is not talented enough to slow him down and they run the floor at a high pace. I’m expecting a lot of scoring in this game and we could see a ceiling game out of Davis.
Kyrie Irving- Kyrie gets a matchup against the Hawks and the Nets have an implied total of 123. I expect Kyrie to eat in this one and he will be a priority for me in tournaments. With Dinwiddie out, we could see Kyrie increase his shot volume to 20 attempts per game.
Bismack Biyombo- My early value play of the day is Bismack. He doesn’t exactly stand out as a smash play but if we do not get much value later on in the day, Bismack could open up salary to get to the studs. He has played 30 minutes in back to back games and gets a matchup against Dwight Powell. This is a good spot for Biyombo.
These are my EARLY targets. If you want targets from our NBA coaches closer to lock, check out NBA Building Blocks!
