NBA DFS Top 5 Value Plays for MLK Day Monday 01/16/23

Robert Williams is definitely worth considering on this slate. With a salary of $5400, he’s projected to score 32.37 points and has a value of 5.99.

One thing to keep in mind is that his projection is based on an estimated 27 minutes of playing time. So, while he may not have the highest floor or ceiling, his points per minute (1.21) are solid. He’s also in a good spot with a favorable matchup against the Charlotte Hornets, who have a DVP (Defense vs Position) ranking of 26 for centers.

Another thing to note is that Williams’ ownership percentage is relatively low, at only 13.8%. So if you want to differentiate your lineup and potentially gain an edge over your competition, rostering Williams could be a smart move.

It’s also worth mentioning that his team, the Boston Celtics, are 8-point favorites with an implied team total of 119.75 points, and the game has a high over/under of 231.5 points. All these factors combined make Williams a solid choice for your center spot in your DFS lineup tonight.

Jarrett Allen is another center worth considering for tonight’s NBA games on DraftKings. His salary is slightly higher at $5900, but his projection is 35.18 points, giving him a value of 5.96.

His projection is based on an estimated 34 minutes of playing time, which is a good amount of playing time. And with a good floor of 26.97 and a decent ceiling of 43.40, his points per minute (1.03) are solid as well. He’s also in a good spot with a favorable matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, who have a DVP (Defense vs Position) ranking of 18 for centers.

Allen’s ownership percentage is relatively low, at only 9.5%. So if you want to differentiate your lineup and potentially gain an edge over your competition, rostering Allen could be a smart move.

It’s also worth mentioning that his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, are 6-point underdogs with an implied team total of 114.25 points, and the game has a high over/under of 222.5 points. All these factors combined make Allen a solid choice for your center spot in your DFS lineup tonight.

P.J. Washington has a salary of $5400, he’s projected to score 31.47 points and has a value of 5.83. He’s him a great bargain pick considering his price and expected performance in this matchup.

We have him projected for 36 minutes of playing time, which is a decent amount of playing time. He has a solid floor of 23.01 and a nice ceiling of 39.93, with a respectable point per minute of (0.87). He’s has a tough matchup against the Boston Celtics, who have a DVP (Defense vs Position) ranking of 3 for power forwards but his price and upside keep him in consideration for me today.

Another thing to note is that Washington’s ownership percentage is relatively high, at 22.1%. So if you want to differentiate your lineup and potentially gain an edge over your competition, rostering Washington may not be the best move.

It’s also worth mentioning that his team, the Charlotte Hornets, are 8-point underdogs with an implied team total of 111.75 points, and the game has a high over/under of 231.5 points. All these factors combined make Washington a solid choice for your power-forward spot in your DFS lineup tonight.

Mitchell Robinson has a salary of $5300, he’s projected to score 30.71 points and has a value of 5.79. One thing to keep in mind is that his projection is based on an estimated 32 minutes of playing time, which is a decent amount of playing time. With a good floor of 23.22 and a decent ceiling of 38.20, his points per minute (0.96) are solid as well. He’s in a tough matchup against the Toronto Raptors, who have a DVP (Defense vs Position) ranking of 3 for centers but I’m still interested in him today.

Robinson’s ownership percentage is relatively low, at 5.6%. So he should be a solid way differentiate your lineup and potentially gain an edge over your competition. The New York Knicks, are 3-point underdogs with an implied team total of 113.75 points, and the game has a high over/under of 224.5 points. All these factors combined make Robinson a solid choice for your center spot in your DFS lineup tonight.

Mason Plumlee, has a salary of $6400, he’s projected to score 35.99 points and has a value of 5.62. We have him estimated for 34 minutes of playing time and he has a good floor of 27.49. His ceiling of 44.49 is promising and his points per minute (1.07) are solid as well. The matchup is not great vs the Boston Celtics, who have a DVP (Defense vs Position) ranking of 3 for centers but his salary and opportunity should keep him on your radar today.

We have his ownership projection relatively low, at 14.7%. The Charlotte Hornets, are 8-point underdogs with an implied team total of 111.75 points, and the game has a high over/under of 231.5 points. All these factors make Plumlee a solid choice for your center spot in your DFS lineup tonight.

Today’s NBA games offer a variety of value plays at the center and power forward positions on DraftKings. Players like Robert Williams, Jarrett Allen, PJ Washington, Mitchell Robinson and Mason Plumlee are all projected to out-perform their salaries.
