NBA DFS Top Plays for Friday 02/10/23
Damian Lillard DK $10,900 – FD $10,400
Damian Lillard is one of the top options for NBA DFS players on Friday 2-10-23. With the Blazers sending out Josh Hart and Gary Payton at the deadline, Lillard has been shouldering more of the load and running major minutes lately. In his last five games, he’s been averaging 34 points, 7.4 assists, and 6 rebounds. The game against the Oklahoma City Thunder should be fast-paced, which should benefit Lillard and his high-floor performance.
The Thunder struggle to defend point guards, ranking 8th in terms of most FanDuel points allowed to the position over the past eight games. With a slate-leading total of 241.5 points and a spread of 3.0, the Portland Trail Blazers’ 122.25-point implied total is the night’s highest. This sets the stage for Lillard to shine and make for a great investment at $10,900 on DraftKings and $10,400 on FanDuel.
We project Lillard for 50.7 FanDuel points, and he’s our favorite play among those with a five-digit salary. Lillard is averaging nearly 40 raw points per game across his last 17 outings, scoring at least 43 DK points in 16 of those. With the absence of Jusuf Nurkic and Josh Hart, Lillard is taking over this offense and is expected to continue his hot streak against a Thunder defense that ranks 20th in total defense.
Paul George DK $8,900 – FD $8,200
With Kawhi Leonard out of the lineup, George is expected to be the primary option for the team and will likely see an increase in usage and production. This season, in games without Leonard, George has recorded a 32.7% usage rate and an average of 44.4 FanDuel points per 36 minutes.
The Milwaukee Bucks are a tough opponent, but the game has a high point total of 227.0 and a 2.5-point spread, which should make for a favorable fantasy environment. Additionally, Milwaukee is playing on the second night of a back-to-back, which could impact their performance.
George is an excellent play and he has shown the ability to perform at a $10,000 level. With the Clippers shorthanded, he’ll likely be a top performer tonight.

Anthony Edwards DK $10,000 – FD $9,100
Edwards will now have a chance to shine with D’Angelo Russell traded and Karl-Anthony Towns still out with injury. In the games where Russell was not on the floor this season, Edwards’ usage rate was a massive 34.4% and he generated 50.2 FD points per 36 minutes.
Tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies will present a challenging matchup, but the high-paced environment could be to Edwards’ advantage. Both Minnesota and Memphis are among the top five in pace, and the game has a 235.0-point total, the third-best on the slate. Our projections have Edwards putting up around 44 points, but with his previous performance, there’s a chance he could exceed that and bring even more to the table in this spot.
Jimmy Butler DK $8,400 – $8,800
Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat has a dream matchup today against the Houston Rockets. The Heat have remained mostly intact, with the only notable move being the trade of Dewayne Dedmon. The absence of Kyle Lowry (knee) in recent games has allowed Butler to shine. With the Rockets ranking as the third-worst team in the league for defensive rating, Butler’s floor remains extremely high.
This All-Star is no stranger to big games, averaging over 41 DraftKings points per game this season. The Rockets, who rank 25th in points allowed and 28th in defensive efficiency, have struggled to stop opposing wings, surrendering the sixth-most fantasy points in the league.
In their previous meeting in December, Butler racked up 57 DK points, despite scoring only 20 raw points on 13 shots. With this favorable matchup, Jimmy is poised to have another fantastic game, stuffing the stat sheet with ease.
Raptors Studs
Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam are two exciting players to watch in the upcoming game against Utah. VanVleet, known for his streaky playing style, has been performing well over the last two games with 31 and 33.75 DraftKings points.
Despite his inconsistency, his high minutes on the floor provide a relatively high floor, particularly with his ability to contribute to the team’s assists and defensive stats. He faces a Utah team that has the 27th defensive rating over the last 10 games, which should provide an opportunity for VanVleet to shine.
On the other hand, Siakam has been in a slump for the past month but seems to be coming out of it after his recent performance against the Raptors, where he posted 37 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, resulting in 64 DraftKings points.
Siakam has been a consistent fantasy scorer throughout the year, averaging nearly 50 fantasy points per game. This matchup against Utah, who allows the second-most fantasy points to opposing big men and has a 27th rank in defensive efficiency, should provide Siakam with the opportunity to deliver another fantastic performance.
