NBA DFS Top Plays for Friday 3/24/23

NBA DFS Top Plays

Welcome to our guide for NBA DFS Top Plays on Friday, March 24th, 2023. With the NBA season in full swing, daily fantasy sports enthusiasts are gearing up for another exciting day of DFS action. Finding the right players to roster can be a daunting task, but our team of experts has done the heavy lifting for you. Let’s dig in!

Kristaps Porzingis

Kristaps Porzingis is a player to watch for Friday’s NBA DFS Top Plays. The power forward/center for the Washington Wizards is listed at $9,000 on DraftKings and $8,900 on FanDuel. Porzingis is having a career year with an average of over 40 DraftKings points per game, and he’s scored at least 51 DK points in 11 of his last 21 games. With Kuzma and Beal both dealing with injuries, Porzingis could be asked to do even more for the Wizards.

But the matchup is what makes Porzingis an especially attractive option. The San Antonio Spurs rank last in both points allowed and defensive efficiency, setting up a potentially big night for Porzingis. In their last matchup, he provided a whopping 54 DK points.

Even in Washington’s blowout loss to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, Porzingis managed to score 25 points on 17 shot attempts in just 22 minutes. If Friday’s game is more competitive, Porzingis could be a player to build your entire lineup around.

Devin Booker

Devin Booker is a must-watch player for Friday’s NBA DFS Top Plays. The Phoenix Suns’ point guard/shooting guard is listed at $9,600 on DraftKings and $10,100 on FanDuel. Booker has been asked to do everything for the Suns, with a usage rate hovering around 40% in the absence of Kevin Durant. He’s averaging 1.6 DK points per minute in those circumstances, resulting in a streak of nine out of ten games with at least 42 fantasy points and a 49-point average in that span.

With Deandre Ayton out with a hip injury, Booker will have an even heavier burden to carry. In the last two games without Ayton, Booker has posted 51.1 and 40.7 fantasy points, demonstrating his ability to thrive under increased workload. The Sacramento Kings, who rank inside the bottom-five in defensive rating, present a great matchup for Booker, and he should have tremendous upside.

Fred VanVleet

In his only meeting with the Pistons back in February, he scored an impressive 35 points, had 3 rebounds and 8 assists, while hitting 6-13 long balls. With the Pistons currently struggling, VanVleet is a great target for opposing players, both guards and big men.

Despite his recent dominance, VanVleet feels underpriced for this matchup. If the Raptors fail to blow out the Pistons and let them hang around, VanVleet has both a high floor and a high ceiling, making him an excellent option for Friday’s slate. With his recent scoring and impressive assist record, he’s an unstoppable force on the court.

Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is a top option for Friday’s NBA DFS Top Plays, with a price of $10,300 on FanDuel and $11,000 on DraftKings. Without Anfernee Simons in the lineup, Lillard will see a massive amount of usage in the offense. While he is priced in the upper tier, he is still a good option for cash games due to his overall makeup.

Lillard has dropped 30 or more points in three of the last four games and has been able to rack up assists as well. Despite the Chicago Bulls’ reputation as a good defense this season, Lillard’s impressive form doesn’t have me walking away from this play. He is an elite player who could potentially put up huge numbers, making him a great option for Friday’s slate.
