Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Thunder’s Standout Point Guard

The Oklahoma City Thunder guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, is poised to deliver a strong performance in tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets. The price tag of $10,200 on FanDuel and $10,400 on DraftKings is well worth it given his recent form. Over his last six games, he has been a consistent producer, averaging 32.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.8 combined blocks and steals. This has led to an average of over 50 fantasy points per game, making him a top option in all formats.

Facing the Rockets, who rank 28th in defense and are missing two key starters in Porter and Green, Gilgeous-Alexander has a prime opportunity to continue his hot streak. In the last meeting between these teams, he recorded 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals, showcasing his all-around potential.

With an average of 30.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.3 steals over his last 10 games, and a high of 62 DraftKings points, Gilgeous-Alexander is a player to watch in tonight’s game. Don’t miss out on this standout point guard’s potential against the Rockets, who give up the sixth-most points per game and are thin in the backcourt.

Jimmy Butler is an experienced and versatile player who can contribute in multiple ways on the court. Despite his recent quiet performance, Butler has been consistently putting up strong numbers over his last 10 appearances, averaging 20.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game. These numbers are even more impressive when you consider that he has had to step up on offense in the absence of key teammate Kyle Lowry. This increased responsibility has only highlighted Butler’s ability to take control of a game when his team needs it.

The Milwaukee Bucks are a tough opponent, but that should not deter you from considering Butler as a potential pick. Butler has already faced the Bucks twice this season, both at home, and has helped lead his team to victory in both of those games. This is a testament to his ability to rise to the occasion and perform well against top-tier teams.

In terms of his DraftKings salary, Butler is currently priced at $7,400, which is significantly lower than his usual value. This is a great opportunity for fantasy owners to take advantage of his low price and secure a strong player at a bargain. With a usage rate of 23.5% and an average of 1.41 FPTS/min, Butler is projected to score 46.5 DK points, which would give him around 6x value at his current salary.

Spencer Dinwiddie is a solid fantasy option for DraftKings tonight, as his price of $7,100 is very reasonable considering his recent production and usage. In three of his last four games, Dinwiddie has recorded DK points of 59, 57.5, and 36.25, which is impressive considering that those games were with  Luka Doncic in the lineup.

With Doncic and Christian Wood both out of the picture, Dinwiddie is expected to see a significant increase in usage and production. He has a 35.5% usage rate and averages 1.27 FPTS/min with those two players off the floor, making him a very attractive option tonight. Furthermore, the Warriors have struggled against point guards, allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position and the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing teams this season, further boosting Dinwiddie’s appeal.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been on a tear lately, scoring 70 or more DKFP in three of his last four games. Despite facing a tough matchup against the Miami Heat, Giannis should be able to shine once again as he has a tendency to take over when the Bucks struggle.

Antetokounmpo, over the last five games, has been averaging 42.4 points, 15.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists and he scored 81.8 DK points in his last outing. With Bobby Portis out, he will need to pick up the extra slack on the glass. All that being said, Giannis is a strong play in all formats at $11,900.

Jamal Murray

With Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon potentially missing Saturday’s game, Murray could find himself as the Nuggets’ primary option on offense. The Atlanta Hawks present a favorable matchup for the guard with a 20th ranked defensive efficiency rating (112.3) and a high pace of play (102.9).

Over the past 10 games, Murray has been playing some of the best basketball of his season, with a significant increase in shot volume and averaging 24.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists. Take advantage of this favorable matchup and play Murray in all formats.
