NBA DFS Top Plays for Sunday 3/12/23

NBA DFS Top plays plays for winning your Draftkings Lineup

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at some of the top NBA DFS plays for your DraftKings lineup and provide some tips for making the most of your daily fantasy basketball experience.

Damian Lillard

When it comes to NBA DFS top plays, it’s impossible to overlook Damian Lillard’s incredible performances in recent weeks. The All-Star guard has been on fire, averaging a staggering 36.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists across his last 28 games. What’s more impressive is that he’s scored at least 39 DK points in every single one of those games, averaging close to 60 fantasy points per game during that span. It’s no wonder why Lillard is a must-have in any DraftKings lineup, especially in an important game against a struggling Pelicans team.

In his last five matchups vs New Orleans, Lillard has posted an average of 59 points against them. For DFS enthusiasts, Dame dropping a ton of DKFP on the Sunday slate is like music to their ears. Just last Sunday, he racked up an impressive 66.75 DKFP against Orlando, and the week before that, he scored a whopping 93 DKFP on Houston.

With New Orleans losing seven of their last nine games, this game should be a favorable matchup for Lillard and an opportunity for him to once again dominate the court and help lead his team to victory.

Josh Giddey

Josh Giddey is a rising star in the Oklahoma City Thunder roster, and he’s been making a significant impact lately, averaging a career-high 37 DK points per game. In today’s game against the San Antonio Spurs, Giddey has a chance to shine, as the Spurs are currently at the bottom of the league in points allowed and defensive efficiency.

Whether or not Gilgeous-Alexander and Williams play, Giddey remains a strong play, but he becomes an even better pick if they sit out. He’s been in excellent form recently, scoring at least 49.75 DK points in four straight games before posting 29.75 and 32.75 DK points in his last two challenging road games.

Against the Spurs, we can expect him to get back on track, given that they allow the most fantasy points per game to opposing teams and rank last in defensive rating. Additionally, both teams rank in the top four in pace, indicating that this game will be high-scoring, with plenty of possessions and fantasy points up for grabs. So, be sure to include Josh Giddey in your DraftKings lineup today.

Julius Randle

Randle has been in sensational form, scoring at least 39 DraftKings points in 42 of his last 44 games and averaging 50 points during that span. He’s expected to be a crucial player in the offense, especially if Brunson is out again, as he has been in the last six games that Brunson missed, where Randle scored at least 49 DK points in five of them with an average of nearly 60 points.

The prospect of a revenge game against the Lakers only adds to the excitement, especially given that LA ranks second in pace and 25th in total defense. Randle has an impressive track record against his former team, scoring at least 42 DK points in his last five matchups with them and averaging over 50 fantasy points per game.

Zach Collins

Zach Collins has been a reliable player for DFS lineups since taking over as the starting center for the San Antonio Spurs. Despite his impressive performance, he remains below $7,000 on both sites, making him an affordable and high-value option. In the ten games since taking over this role, Collins has scored at least 27 fantasy points in nine of them, with an average of 35 points during that span.

This consistency makes him an enticing pick, especially in an outstanding matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who rank 20th in total defense and allow the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing centers. Moreover, if OKC decides to rest some players, this game could stay close, making Collins an even more valuable option.
