NBA DFS Top Plays for 01/31/23
Nikola Jokic DK $11,800 – FD $11,400
Nikola Jokic, the Denver Nuggets’ two-time MVP, is a force to be reckoned with on the court. With an impressive average of 25.1 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 9.9 assists per game, he’s putting up a solid 58 DraftKings points per outing. In fact, Jokic has scored at least 59 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games, making him a reliable cash game option. And with his impressive 66-point average against the New Orleans Pelicans, Jokic looks even more enticing for tonight’s matchup.
The Joker has been dominant in recent games, recording a triple-double in six of his last eight appearances. Last week’s game against the Pelicans was no exception, as Jokic posted a triple-double and a solid 59.75 DraftKings points. Assuming tonight’s game is closer to its 229.5-point opening line, the big man should deliver another standout performance.
Jokic is truly having another MVP-caliber season, guiding the Nuggets to one of the top records in the NBA. Randle will have extra motivation in this game, facing his former team. He’s been a scoring machine, posting 53+ DraftKings points in 17 of his last 20 contests. With a 60-point average in that span, it’s easy to see why he’s a popular pick against the Lakers, who rank 27th in total defense. Randle shined against the Lakers last year, averaging 26 points, 16 rebounds, and 6.0 assists in their two matchups.
Randle continues to produce, going over 50 DK points in six of his last 10 appearances, with a high of 71.8. He’s putting up 26.1 points, 13.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, making him a strong option against a Lakers team that gives up the fourth-most points and sixth-most offensive rebounds per game in the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo DK $12,000 – FD $12,200
The Greek Freak is a phenomenal force on the court and one of the top choices on this slate. Giannis Antetokounmpo is putting up an impressive average of 58 DraftKings points per game, proving his worth in fantasy. With at least 71 DK points in his last two games and 40 fantasy points in all but two games this season, the Milwaukee Bucks star is set to shine against the Charlotte Hornets. With the Hornets ranking 27th in defensive efficiency and 28th in points allowed, Giannis is poised to dominate once again.
Giannis is in a league of his own, with only Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic in his class when it comes to fantasy production. Coming off a 50-point game against the Pelicans, the Greek Freak is ready to unleash his full potential on the Hornets. Although there is always the possibility of a blowout, Giannis is safe enough to play, especially considering the opponent and the overall slate.
In the two games that Bobby Portis has missed, Giannis has averaged a monstrous 72 DK points per game. The Hornets continue to be a weak spot against big men, making Giannis a top option for the day. Although there is always the risk of a blowout, the ceiling for Giannis is possibly the highest on the slate, making him a must-consider option.
With his last performance being a 50-point game on 20-of-26 shooting, Giannis is in a prime position to dominate against the Hornets. The Hornets struggle against opponents, allowing them to shoot 48.2 percent from the field and giving up the third-most points per game to power forwards. Giannis is a top pick for this slate, and his potential to generate over 70 DK points in back-to-back games is too tempting to ignore.
CJ McCollum DK $8,200 – FD $8,000
CJ McCollum is a key player for one of the top offenses in the NBA, despite Brandon Ingram’s return. McCollum has produced an average of 39 DraftKings points per game, including 43 and 52 points in his last two games.
He faces a favorable matchup against the Denver Nuggets, who rank 25th against opposing point guards. Despite a disappointing performance in their previous encounter, McCollum has consistently performed, scoring 51.8 and 42.8 DK points in his last two games. Jrue Holiday DK $8,500 – FD – $7,700

The Hornets defense presents an excellent opportunity for Holiday to excel, as they give up the third-most points in the league and allow opponents to shoot an average of 36.3% from beyond the arc.
Paul George DK $8,900 – FD $8,300
Paul George is a solid pick for Tuesday’s game against the Bulls. Despite the potential for Kawhi Leonard to play a high number of minutes, George should still see ample playing time and opportunities.
