While some may be hesitant to roster him against Boston, this is actually a great opportunity to capitalize on his impressive recent form. Lillard has been putting up big numbers regardless of the opponent, recording at least 52 DraftKings points in 16 of his last 22 games. He’s been averaging 60 DK points per game during that span and has taken on an even greater role in the offense with Anfernee Simons out of action.
Lillard has been averaging a whopping 26 shots per game over his last eight outings and playing nearly 40 minutes a night, making him a force to be reckoned with. His usage rate has been off the charts, and it’s difficult to overlook his potential even against a team like Boston. The Celtics’ defense hasn’t exactly been intimidating lately, having allowed at least 107 points in their last 11 games while giving up an average of 118 points per game during that stretch. So, despite the matchup, Lillard should definitely be on your radar for Wednesday’s DFS contests.

Nikola Jokic DK $11,600 – FD $11,900
Nikola Jokic is a must-have in your DFS lineup for Wednesday 3/8/23, with a price tag of $11,600 on DraftKings and $11,900 on FanDuel. The Denver Nuggets center is on track to earn his third consecutive MVP award, thanks in large part to his consistent production. Jokic has scored at least 42 DraftKings points in all but four games this season, making him one of the safest options for DFS players.
While the matchup against Chicago’s 18th-ranked defense is not necessarily a factor in Jokic’s potential output, it certainly adds to his appeal. With several teams playing on a back-to-back schedule and many top players on the injury report, it should be easy to fit Jokic into your lineup and benefit from his high floor.
Jokic has been a model of consistency, scoring at least 49 DraftKings points in 41 of his last 44 games. He’s averaging an impressive 25.4 points, 12.5 rebounds, 10.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game during that span, making him one of the most dominant players in the league. Even in Denver’s blowout victory over the Bulls earlier this season, Jokic still managed to score 42 DK points in just 28 minutes of play. If he sees his expected 35 minutes of playing time, he could easily rack up another 60-point gem.

Kristaps Porzingis DK $8,900 – FD $9,800
Kristaps Porzingis is a standout pick for Wednesday’s DFS slate, with a price tag of $8,900 on DraftKings and $9,800 on FanDuel. Despite not receiving as much attention as other players, Porzingis has been putting up impressive numbers lately. He’s scored at least 46 DraftKings points in 10 of the last 15 games he’s finished, which is close to his career-best average. Moreover, the fact that he’s facing the Atlanta Hawks, who rank 21st in both points allowed and defensive efficiency, makes him an even more attractive option.
He scored at least 37 fantasy points in 14 of his last 17 games and at least 49 DK points in nine, establishing himself as the go-to player in the offense. It’s worth noting that Porzingis delivered a phenomenal performance in their most recent matchup against the Hawks, with 26 points and 18 rebounds for a total of 63 DK points.
Porzingis may not be getting as much hype as some other players, but his consistent production and favorable matchup make him a top play for Wednesday’s DFS contests.
Brandon Ingram DK $8,400 – FD $8,300
Brandon Ingram is a top play for Wednesday’s DFS slate, with a price tag of $8,300 on FanDuel and $8,400 on DraftKings. Despite the struggles of the New Orleans Pelicans this season, Ingram has been a consistent performer, especially since the injury to Zion Williamson. With a 32 percent usage rate in Williamson’s absence, Ingram has scored at least 29 DraftKings points in 14 consecutive games and has averaged an impressive 39 points during that span.
Ingram is taking on a larger role in the offense, averaging 21 shots and 36 minutes per game, and that kind of volume makes him one of the safest $8K options. While Dallas used to be a tough matchup, their defense has struggled since acquiring Kyrie Irving, and Ingram was able to put up solid numbers in their most recent matchup just a month ago, with 26 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.
Ingram’s production has been steady over the last five games, averaging 25.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists, with a high of 59.5 DraftKings points. He’s likely to continue leading the Pelicans’ offense, making him an attractive option for DFS players on Wednesday. The Mavericks are playing on a back-to-back schedule and have allowed opponents to shoot an average of 48.6 percent from the field, giving Ingram an excellent opportunity to shine once again.
