NBA DFS Top Plays

Welcome to our NBA DFS Top Plays for Wednesday 5/10/23 article. As we near the end of the conference semifinals, every game becomes more critical, and the pressure on each player intensifies. In this article, we’ll highlight the top plays across multiple positions to help you craft a winning lineup for your daily fantasy basketball contests. We’ll provide analysis on the most in-form players, injury updates, and matchup considerations to help you make informed decisions for your DFS roster. Let’s dive into the top plays for Wednesday’s slate of games.

Steph Curry

For Wednesday’s NBA DFS slate of games, Stephen Curry (PG – GSW) is an outstanding pick, especially considering his recent impressive performances in the playoffs. Despite having an off-shooting night in Game 4, Curry still managed to score an impressive 76 DK points, making him a highly favorable option for DFS enthusiasts.

In his 12 career elimination games, Curry has consistently averaged 29.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.6 steals, with a 50+ DK point average. With the Warriors now facing elimination in Game 5, DFS players can confidently expect Curry to continue dominating the game with his legendary shooting skills and surpassing his previous averages.

Curry is a must-have for tonight, given his ability to perform under pressure and rise to the occasion, making him a valuable asset to any team. Curry is undoubtedly a top pick in NBA DFS for Wednesday’s slate of games.

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL) is a top pick in NBA DFS for Wednesday, given his consistent impressive performances in the playoffs. In 13 of his last 18 games, Davis has scored at least 51 fantasy points, with an average of almost 60 points during that span. He has the potential to play 40-45 minutes, giving him the highest upside of any player on this slate.

With three double-doubles in the first four games against the Warriors and five tallies of more than 60 fantasy points already this postseason, Davis is a top option in a game that the Lakers need to close out the series. He has a history of posting impressive numbers and is expected to dominate the court with his rebounding, scoring, and blocking skills.

DFS need to consider Davis a must-have for their lineups tonight. With a back-to-back 20/10 double-double, a series-high of 75.3 DK points in Game 1, and an average of 22.3 points, 14.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.8 steals, and 2.8 blocks in the second round, Davis is expected to continue dominating the glass in this crucial matchup.

Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler (SF/PF – MIA) is an essential pick for NBA DFS enthusiasts on Wednesday’s slate of games, given his remarkable performances in the playoffs. With Miami just one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference Finals, Playoff Jimmy is a crucial factor in the team’s success. In the postseason, he has scored at least 56 DraftKings points in six of his last 13 games, generating a 54-point average.

Butler’s increased role in the team due to Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo‘s absence has resulted in him playing 40-45 minutes and taking 20-25 shots per game, making him one of the safest plays in every slate. Furthermore, he has been playing through his ankle injury and generated his most prolific performance of the series in Game 4 with a 27-point, 10-assist double-double that led to 58 DK/58.2 FD points.

New York’s defensive vulnerability to small forwards (allowing the second-highest offensive efficiency rating of 25.1) brightens Butler’s prospects even further. In seven meetings with the Knicks this year, he has averaged 45 DK points per game, showcasing his ability to carry Miami throughout the postseason.

In the second round, Butler has recorded an average of 26.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks in three appearances, with a high of 58 DK points in Game 4. In Game 5, he is likely to bring an inspired effort to put the series away and earn extra rest before the conference finals.

Jalen Brunson

Jalen Brunson has been one of the brightest spots for the Knicks during the current playoff run, averaging over 40 fantasy points per game on both DraftKings and FanDuel against Miami.

He has been on fire lately, with at least 37 DK points in each of his last 11 games, and a 46-point average in that span. In Game 4, Brunson racked up an impressive 58 DK points in 44 minutes, and he will need to maintain that level of play to keep the Knicks alive in this must-win Game 5.

With fellow star Julius Randle struggling, the Knicks will need Brunson’s usage to be high, which could translate to 25 shots and 45 minutes of playing time. Plus, with Immanuel Quickley expected to be out, Brunson may be the sole ball-handler, giving him even more opportunities to shine.
