NBA DFS Top Value Plays for ❤ Tuesday 2/14/23 ❤

Celtics Value

The Boston Celtics are dealing with multiple injuries, as three of their best players – Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart – are out for today’s game. As a result, the rest of the team will have to step up and take on larger roles, making them potentially good value picks for fantasy basketball.

Grant Williams, Robert Williams III, and Sam Hauser are among the players who could benefit from the increased minutes and opportunities. Hauser, in particular, has seen a boost in playing time and is likely to replace Tatum in the starting lineup. He has posted solid fantasy numbers in his last four games and should continue to see significant playing time despite a tough matchup against the Bucks.

Meanwhile, Grant Williams is fairly reliable on a per-minute basis, with rebounding being one of his strengths. Although he may not have a high ceiling for fantasy production, his low price on DraftKings makes him a reasonable risk. Robert Williams III has also been a consistent performer in recent games, with 15+ rebounds in each of his last three games, and the potential for blocks.

Malcolm Brogdon is another player who stands to benefit from the Celtics’ injuries. With Tatum, Brown, and Smart out, Brogdon should see an increase in usage and could be in a great spot for production. Al Horford and Payton Pritchard are also projected for solid fantasy outputs, and Grant Williams could be another player to consider if he is active.

Torrey Craig, PHO vs. SAC ($4,900)

Craig is coming off a double-double performance and recorded 33.5 DK points in his last game. Over his last five games, he is averaging 6.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. Against the Kings, who allow opponents to shoot an average of 49.2% from the field, Craig has a good chance to continue his strong play.

Suns Value

T.J. Warren, PHO vs. SAC ($4,400)

T.J. Warren will make his second debut with the Suns tonight and is expected to start at power forward against the Kings. Sacramento is ranked 17th in defensive efficiency against power forwards, giving up an average of 26.2 fantasy points per game.

In addition, Warren carries a low salary and brings a high ceiling, having previously shown his potential earlier this season with the Nets by putting up 40.6 fantasy points across 27 minutes against the Cavaliers. Sacramento is also allowing 36.8% three-point shooting overall, including 41.4% over the last three games, which could help Warren’s value.

Khris Middleton DK $5,400 – FD $6,000

Khris Middleton has faced some setbacks this season, including injuries and limited playing time. However, he’s gradually increasing his minutes and played a season-high of 25 minutes in the Bucks’ most recent game.

As his workload expands, so does his potential fantasy value. In fact, Middleton has already produced at least 34 DraftKings points in two of his last three outings, and we can expect that to be his floor once he’s back to a 30-minute role. While his minutes are still somewhat limited, he is a player to keep an eye on, as his matchup is not as daunting as it may appear.

Despite his low usage rate and a challenging matchup against the Celtics, who are dealing with injuries on the perimeter, Middleton should still have an opportunity to deliver a solid fantasy performance, regardless of whether or not the Bucks win in a blowout.

Blazers Value

Shaedon Sharpe DK $3,700 – FD $4,500

Portland’s decision to trade Josh Hart may have been puzzling, but it appears that they are committed to giving Sharpe an opportunity to succeed.

The rookie has seen a steady increase in his fantasy production over his last three games, going from 24 to 29 to 35 DraftKings points. As a result, Sharpe should continue to see more playing time going forward, and his current price tags do not reflect the uptick in his production and playing time.

Trendon Watford DK $3,500 – FD $4,100

With Jusuf Nurkic sidelined due to an injury, both Watford and Drew Eubanks have yet to establish themselves as the clear-cut next man up.

However, given the matchup and pricing, I prefer Watford tonight. While he may give up significant height to Kristaps Porzingis, the Mavericks’ starting center, Watford should see more playing time against the Wizards’ backup center, Daniel Gafford, who is also considered undersized for the position.

With our top value plays for DraftKings and FanDuel, you’ll have a solid foundation for building a winning lineup.
