Marcus Smart, MEM at WAS

Marcus Smart has been thrust into a significant role for the Memphis Grizzlies due to a 25-game suspension for Ja Morant. Smart has not disappointed, delivering strong performances right out of the gate. In the season opener against the Pelicans. But what really caught our attention was his impressive game against the defending champion Nuggets. Smart now faces a highly favorable matchup against the Washington Wizards, a team that allowed 143 points to the Pacers in their opener and struggled defensively. 

Coby White, CHI at DET

Coby White has emerged as one of the early-season breakout stars, taking over the starting point guard role for the Chicago Bulls in the absence of the injured Lonzo Ball. In the first two games, White has been a consistent fantasy producer, averaging 31 fantasy points across 35 minutes of play. This level of production is typically associated with players priced much higher, making White an attractive value play.

The matchup against the Detroit Pistons further enhances his appeal, as they ranked 27th in defensive efficiency last season. Keep in mind that Zach LaVine‘s availability might impact White’s workload in the second half of a back-to-back, but he’s shown the ability to shine in any situation.

Ivey’s impressive rookie year demonstrated his potential, averaging 16.3 points, 5.2 assists, and 3.9 rebounds over 74 games.

He has the ability to make a significant impact even in limited minutes, and his scoring ability can be a valuable asset for your DFS lineup. Facing a Bulls team that may have difficulty defending second-unit players this season, Ivey has the opportunity to shine and provide excellent value.

Isaac Okoro, CLE vs. IND

Isaac Okoro has quietly become a solid fantasy contributor in his first two games of the season, delivering 38.2 and 29.4 FD points, respectively. He has earned a spot in the Cavaliers’ starting five and has showcased his all-around game with steals and rebounds in addition to scoring.

Okoro’s versatility makes him an intriguing value play, especially if he continues to log significant minutes. With the potential for around 29.5 minutes per game, Okoro has a chance to provide consistent returns for your DFS lineup.
