Malcolm Brogdon (PG/SG – POR): $5,600 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuelMalcolm Brogdon finds himself in a challenging situation with the Trail Blazers, but his fantasy value is undeniable. Despite coming off the bench, Brogdon has been a consistent performer, averaging 30 DK points per game. With the possibility of him starting at point guard due to Anfernee Simons‘ absence, Brogdon’s value could skyrocket. Keep a close eye on his salary as it should rise with his expected increased role.
Nets SituationThe Brooklyn Nets are an intriguing team for fantasy purposes tonight, and three players deserve a closer look:
Cam Thomas FD – $7800 DK – $6000Cam Thomas has quickly become a fantasy star for the Nets. He recently moved into the starting lineup and immediately made an impact, scoring 30 points in 33 minutes while also grabbing seven rebounds. Known for his scoring ability, Thomas is still priced affordably on DraftKings, making him a strong value play.
Ben Simmons FD – $6700 DK – $6400Ben Simmons may not be a high-volume shooter, but his ability to contribute across multiple stat categories makes him a valuable fantasy asset. In his recent game against the Mavericks, Simmons posted an impressive 10/10/8/2/2 line in just 32 minutes. With the absence of Nic Claxton, Simmons’ playing time and fantasy value should remain favorable, especially on FanDuel.
Spencer Dinwiddie FD – $6000 DK – $6100Spencer Dinwiddie has had a mixed start to the season but offers value in the middle tier on both DFS platforms. While he may not dominate the ball as much in the current Nets lineup, he should see consistent minutes in the low-to-mid 30s. Keep an eye on his performance as he has the potential to provide value.
Other Value PlaysJalen Johnson FD – $6000 DK – $5000: Jalen Johnson‘s move into the starting lineup has been a game-changer for the Hawks. Even in limited minutes earlier in the season, Johnson displayed his scoring ability and versatility, averaging 15.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks+steals. With more playing time on the horizon, Johnson’s value is likely to increase, so consider him a strong DFS option. Xavier Tillman (PF/C – MEM): $6,500 DraftKings, $6,900 FanDuel – Xavier Tillman has seized his opportunity in Memphis due to the absence of key frontcourt players. Averaging 35 DraftKings points per game, Tillman is delivering excellent value for his sub-$7K price tag. With Memphis facing Dallas, a team that has allowed over 119 points in their first two games, Tillman’s potential for a big performance is enticing. Mark Williams (C – CHA): $6,100 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel: Mark Williams had a slow start in his previous game, but he has the potential to bounce back. Averaging over 30 DK points per game as a starter last season, Williams is a promising young big man. With Nic Claxton out for the Nets, this could be an opportunity for Williams to shine. Jalen Williams FD – $5600 DK – $5800: While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dominates usage, Jalen Williams offers an affordable option on FanDuel. His consistent minutes and good matchup make him a value play worth considering. Bobby Portis FD – $5100 DK – $5700: With Giannis Antetokounmpo likely resting, Bobby Portis could see extended minutes in the starting lineup. While the situation is different this time, Portis is a strong option for DFS, especially if he gets significant playing time.
