Myles Turner (FD – $7500, DK – $7100) – Opponent: ATL
Myles Turner has the potential to be a real game-changer, but his inconsistent playing time has kept his price within reach. The Pacers seem intent on giving him 30+ minutes per game, but foul trouble and blowouts have been concerns. However, in this matchup against the Hawks, who boast Capela and Okungwu in their frontcourt, Turner is a risk worth taking. Atlanta’s defense has been shaky, and Turner has averaged 35 DK points per game in their last four meetings.
Jalen Johnson (FD – $6500, DK – $6100) – Opponent: IND
Jalen Johnson has been on a tear recently, scoring 18 or more points in four of his last five games and excelling in rebounding with an average of 8.4 boards per game in November. With increased minutes in the starting lineup, he’s become a valuable fantasy asset. Both the Pacers and the Hawks play at a fast pace, and Indiana’s defense is far from stellar, making Johnson an enticing option.
Jusuf Nurkic (C – PHX) – $6,300 DraftKings, $6,600 FanDuel
Nurkic’s consistency might be a challenge, but his upside is undeniable. He’s scored over 38 DraftKings points five times this season, averaging more than 30 DK points per game. Facing his former team, the Trail Blazers, provides an extra layer of motivation. Portland has struggled against opposing centers, making Nurkic an attractive GPP choice.
Craig Porter Jr. (FD – $4500, DK – $3800)
Despite coming off the bench, Craig Porter Jr. is a player to watch, especially with Donovan Mitchell and Caris LeVert sidelined for the Cavs. In the previous game, Porter delivered a season-best performance, racking up 21 points, four rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block for a total of 37.5 DK points. While the matchup against the 76ers is tough, they give up the second-most steals to opposing point guards, giving Porter a chance to shine.
Bennedict Mathurin (FD – $5400, DK – $5300) – Opponent: ATL
Mathurin’s minutes have been inconsistent, but when he gets significant playing time, he can be a game-changer. With the high-paced nature of this game, taking a chance on Mathurin in the middle tier is worthwhile. He has the potential for big-time scoring, and in a favorable matchup against Atlanta, he could deliver.
Bruce Brown (FD – $5300, DK – $5500) – Opponent: ATL
Bruce Brown is another Pacers starter whose minutes can fluctuate, but he’s generally a reliable option. Prior to a blowout game, he had played 31 or more minutes in six of the previous seven contests. While he may not be a high-usage player, Brown contributes across the board, making him a valuable asset in a fast-paced game like this.
Goga Bitadze (C – ORL) – $5,000 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel
Goga Bitadze has been thrust into the starting center role for the Magic, and when he’s on the court, he’s a fantasy stud. Averaging 29 DK points per game in his eight starts, Bitadze’s per-minute production is impressive. Despite a challenging matchup against Toronto, his ability to produce big numbers makes him a consideration.
Keyonte George (PG/SG – UTA) – $5,500 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel
Rookie Keyonte George has found himself in the starting point guard role for the Jazz, and his affordable price doesn’t reflect his newfound importance. With at least 29 DraftKings points in four straight games and over 30 minutes per game, George is a steal. Facing a Los Angeles team that struggles against point guards, he’s a valuable tournament play.
These top value plays for the NBA DFS slate on 11/21/23 offer a mix of consistency and high upside. Consider your lineup strategy carefully, and don’t hesitate to take advantage of these value options to gain an edge in your fantasy contests. Good luck!
