NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Friday 01/20/23
Dwight Powell – $3,000 DraftKings minimum salary makes him a great value play to consider for your DFS lineups. His matchup against the Miami Heat is less than favorable with a DVP of 7, but his min salary still makes him an excellent option for players looking for DraftKings NBA picks and favorable NBA matchups. His projected 18 fantasy points per game and 25 minutes on the floor make him a solid cash game option. With projected fantasy points per minute of 0.75, he is expected to score between 12.7 and 24.18 fantasy points, making him a solid DFS value play. He is in the “E” tier for projection and “A” for value.

Jerico Sims – Sims is another value play at $3,000 on DraftKings and has a good matchup against the Atlanta Hawks with a DVP of 23. He’s averaging around 17 fantasy points per game and with a projected 22 minutes on the floor, he’s a solid cash game option to consider for your lineup. His projected fantasy points per minute of 0.79 is good and expected to score between 12.08 and 22.86 fantasy points, which makes him a solid DFS value play. He is in the “E” tier for projection and “A” for value.
Hopefully this early preview can give you a quick idea of what we’re looking at on this slate. Overall, these players have decent matchups and should return good value based on their projections and salaries. Most of them also have solid floors and ceilings, which make them less risky plays. On a big slate with a lot of pay-up options these guys are great options to help you save salary as you build your lineups tonight.
