Collin Sexton DK $4,000 – FD $5,200
Collin Sexton is set to see an expanded role in the backcourt with the recent trade of Mike Conley to Minnesota. In his last game as a starter, Sexton played 30 minutes and contributed 37.8 DraftKings Fantasy Points (DKFP). Despite not being a particularly efficient point-per-minute player with an average of 0.92 DKFP per minute, Sexton is an attractive option due to his low price on DraftKings.
In addition, his score-first mentality should lead to a rise in usage, increasing his chances of hitting value at his current price. The Jazz’s recent trades, including the departures of Conley, Malik Beasley, and Jared Vanderbilt, have left a significant amount of minutes available in the backcourt.
Jalen Duren DK $5,000 – FD $5,700
Jalen Duren is in a good position to perform against the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs are allowing the highest number of fantasy points per game to the center position. over the last 15 games.
Duren has been performing well recently, averaging 29 DraftKings (DK) points per game across his last 25 games, with 11.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.6 blocks and a shooting percentage of 76.4%. The Spurs have struggled to defend the paint on the road, which should play into Duren’s strengths as he records most of his points from that area of the floor.

Malcolm Brogdon DK $6,300 – FD $5,900
Malcolm Brogdon is a great option for DFS on Friday. With Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart out, he should see an expanded role in the Celtics lineup and is set to handle the ball as one of the primary ball handlers.
He has been playing well lately, averaging 31 DK points per game over his last 16 games, and this trend could continue with an increased role against the Hornets. Charlotte has the league’s sixth-worst defensive rating and ranks 25th in defensive efficiency and 28th in points allowed, making them a favorable matchup for Brogdon.
Overall, he is poised to have a strong performance and could provide excellent value in this matchup tonight.
Gary Trent DK $6,300 – FD $6,100
Gary Trent has been averaging 31 FD points over his last 13 games. In that same time frame he has been shooting close to 42% from three-point range. The Utah Jazz are a good target for Trent due to their weak defense against two-guards, allowing the third-highest offensive efficiency rating (25.8) and 38.4% three-point shooting.
In the last 15 games, they have given up the fifth-most FD points and the second-most made threes to the position.
Mark Williams DK $3,200 – FD $4,800
Mark Williams is expected to be the new starting center for the Charlotte Hornets after the trade of Mason Plumlee to the Los Angeles Clippers. He has already shown promise this season with 14 points and 10 rebounds per 28 minutes.
Williams could be a popular pick on both FanDuel and DraftKings, especially on DraftKings where his price is close to the minimum. He and Nick Richards are expected to share the center position going forward, and with the potential for 20-25 minutes on Friday, Williams could provide great value.
