NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Monday 3/20/23

NBA DFS Top Value Plays

In this article, we will provide you with the NBA DFS top value plays for Monday 3/20/23, allowing you to make informed decisions when drafting your DFS lineup. Read on to discover the best value picks for this Monday’s NBA action.

Kelly Olynyk

One player who seems to be flying under the radar in DFS circles is Kelly Olynyk. Despite stepping into a much bigger role for the Utah Jazz following some key trades, he’s not receiving the attention he deserves. Over his last 12 games, he’s managed to score at least 27 DraftKings points in nine of them, and his average of 31 DK points per game is certainly nothing to scoff at.

What makes Olynyk an even more attractive option for Monday’s slate is the matchup against the Sacramento Kings. They’re currently ranked 28th in defensive efficiency ratings, meaning Olynyk could have a field day against them.

They’re also giving up the fourth-highest three-point shooting percentage overall (37.2), which bodes well for Olynyk, given his impressive 39.3 percent three-point shooting this season.

Dennis Smith Jr.

Dennis Smith may be one of the most underrated players in DFS, and his affordable price tag on DraftKings only adds to his appeal. Since LaMelo Ball went down with an injury, Smith has taken on a larger role for the Charlotte Hornets, averaging an impressive 29 DK points per game over his last 13 outings. But what’s even more impressive is his consistency, having already averaged over 30 DK points per game earlier in the year when he played at least 25 minutes.

Indiana presents a great opportunity for Smith to continue his hot streak, as they’re ranked 26th in defensive efficiency. With Indiana short-handed in the backcourt, Smith could have an even bigger impact in this matchup.

Mitchell Robinson

If you’re looking for a bargain center option, Mitchell Robinson is your man. At just $4,500 on DraftKings and $6,000 on FanDuel, his price tag is surprisingly low. Considering he’s been averaging nearly 30 DK points per game this season, it’s clear that he should be valued much higher. In fact, Robinson has the potential to perform at an $8K level with the right amount of opportunity, and he’s been playing close to 30 minutes a night.

The matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves is another reason to consider adding Robinson to your lineup. They’re ranked fourth in pace, meaning Robinson could have plenty of opportunities tonight to rack up points. They’re also 20th in total defense, suggesting that Robinson could take full advantage of their weaknesses.

Dillon Brooks

Dillon Brooks is a solid option for Monday’s slate, especially given his sub-$6K salaries on both DraftKings and FanDuel. He’s averaged an impressive 28.5 DK points in the two previous games against the Dallas Mavericks, making him a potential value play. The Mavericks have been struggling to defend small forwards lately, allowing the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to the position.

Brooks is not just a bargain-bin pick. He’s shown impressive upside recently, with three tallies of more than 30 fantasy points in his last six games alone. The Mavericks have been committing more turnovers lately, surrendering an average of 8.0 steals per game in the last three contests. This could play to Brooks’ strengths, as he’s been averaging 1.1 steals in the last 10 contests.
