NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Saturday 02/11/23

Deni Avdija DK $5,900 – FD $6,300

As the Washington Wizards look to solidify their lineup, Deni Avdija has emerged as a top value play in NBA DFS. With Kyle Kuzma expected to sit out for a third consecutive game, Avdija is poised to step up once again and deliver some much-needed PTS/$ value. He’s coming off one of his best games of the season, registering a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards. In the absence of Kyle Kuzma, he has really stepped up, and he has taking double-digit shot attempts in three consecutive games.

In a favorable matchup against the Pacers, who rank 23rd in defense, Avdija is worth considering in all fantasy formats. Over the course of his last eight games, he has earned 33 or more DraftKings points in six of them, averaging a impressive 36 points per game in that stretch..

Avdija enters the game with a strong track record, averaging 32.3 FD points in his last eight contests. He’s been a threat on the court, putting up 15.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.6 steals while shooting 40.0% from beyond the arc. With the Pacers surrendering the second-most FD points per game to small forwards and the second-highest three-point shooting percentage to the position, Avdija is set to have a big game and make a great addition to your fantasy lineup.

Mark Williams DK $3,500 – FD $4,800

Despite facing a challenging matchup, this is a great opportunity for Williams to showcase his talent. The former Duke standout is set to receive consistent playing time, which is reflected in his modest price tag. In his first start on Friday, Williams played a career-high 31 minutes and recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds against the tough Celtics defense. With Williams expected to start again, he presents a high floor/high ceiling option in this game.

Since Charlotte traded Mason Plumlee to LA, it looks like Williams will serve as their starting center for the rest of the season. This is a significant development, considering his per-minute production this season. This price tag does not reflect the increase in his playing time and production, making him a valuable play against Jokic tonight.

Williams put on an impressive performance in his first game as the Hornets’ center, recording 32.5 DK points in 31 minutes despite facing a difficult matchup against the Celtics. The matchup against Jokic and the Nuggets will be challenging, but with Williams in a starting role and a sub-$4,000 price tag, he’s one of the best values on this slate.

Zach Collins DK $4,100 – $5,600

Zach Collins made a big impact in his first start as the new center for the San Antonio Spurs in Friday’s game against the Pistons. He played 35 minutes and recorded a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds, resulting in a solid 46.7 FD points. Although there’s a possibility he could get some rest on Saturday, Collins’ salary remains affordable and his production was impressive considering his previous role as a backup.

He will face a tough challenge against the Atlanta Hawks and center Clint Capela, but with the Spurs’ injury situation, Collins is worth consideration at his price point. On DraftKings, his price only increased by $100 and on FanDuel, it went up by $600.

Collin Sexton DK $4,000 – $5,500

Sexton has been a standout player in the wake of the recent trade deadline. With Mike Conley, Malik Beasley, and Nickeal Alexander-Walker all gone, Sexton has taken over as the starting point guard for the Jazz and has seen an increase in minutes and shot attempts. He has been a strong performer when given 30-35 minutes.

Sexton’s price on DraftKings has not moved overnight, making him a great value pick, especially with dual PG/SG eligibility. He is also a solid option on FanDuel, although not as much of a value. He has a good chance to continue his success against the Knicks, who give up an average of 13.1 three-pointers and the league’s 10th-most free throws per game.

Onyeka Okongwu DK $3,900 – FD $5,300

Okongwu has been a consistent producer for the Hawks off the bench and his role only looks to be expanding. In Thursday’s win over the Suns, he recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds in only 22 minutes, good for 30.2 FD points. The Spurs, who are coming off a double-overtime loss to the Pistons, are a favorable matchup for Okongwu.

They allow a Western Conference-high 36.0 offensive efficiency rating to centers, and have given up the most rebounds to bench players (16.4 per game) in the league. At a salary of $5,300, Okongwu is a strong value option on both DraftKings and FanDuel, especially with the Spurs giving up an NBA-high 49.7 offensive efficiency rating to bench players.
