NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Saturday 2/25/23

NBA DFS Top Value Plays

Welcome to our NBA DFS Top Value Plays article where we’ll be discussing the top value plays for DraftKings and FanDuel. As a DFS player, finding value is key to building a winning lineup, and we’ve identified some players who offer great potential for this weekend’s slate.

With a mix of established and breakout players, we’ll provide detailed analysis and insights to help you make informed decisions and maximize your chances of success. So let’s dive in and see who’s poised to perform and provide the best value for your lineup.

Talen Horton-Tucker DK $5,500 – FD $5,900

NBA DFS players should have Talen Horton-Tucker on their radar for Saturday’s slate as he offers great value on both DraftKings and FanDuel, with salaries of $5,500 and $5,900, respectively. Horton-Tucker faces off against the San Antonio Spurs and has been a steady source of value in recent games, despite shooting poorly in three contests. He has managed to score at least 31.25 DK points in four of his last five games, thanks to his contributions in other statistical categories, notably on the defensive side of the ball.

Horton-Tucker’s new role as a starter following Collin Sexton’s injury has only increased his value, and although his salary has risen, it still doesn’t reflect his potential output. The opportunity to face the Spurs presents a fruitful chance for the young guard to excel, and his SG/SF eligibility only adds to his value.

The Jazz are expected to bounce back from their All-Star hangover and dominate the Spurs. In his last five games, Horton-Tucker has stepped into a larger rotation role, averaging 31.5 DKFP across 26 MPG with a 23.2% Usage Rate. Despite a poor shooting night in his second start, he still managed to contribute across the board with seven rebounds, six assists, and three combined steals+blocks for over 31 fantasy points.

In his upcoming start, Horton-Tucker has a high floor for cash games and significant upside for GPPs at a sub $6K price tag on both DraftKings and FanDuel. With both he and his opponent in excellent spots against the Spurs’ league-worst defense, they should be considered in all formats. As NBA DFS players prepare for Saturday’s slate, they should keep an eye on Horton-Tucker as he looks to continue his steady and reliable contributions for a great value price.

Zach Collins DK $6,200 – FD $6,500

NBA DFS players looking for an attractive option this weekend should consider Zach Collins playing for the San Antonio Spurs against the Utah Jazz. He has a salary of $6,200 and has performed exceptionally well since stepping into the starting lineup following Jakob Poeltl’s departure.

In his four starts, Collins has played over 30 minutes in three games and has scored 49, 23, 31, and 40 DKFP. Although his usage rate has dropped, he’s getting more shot and rebound opportunities with the added minutes. Bad defenses that play up-tempo basketball are always attractive in DFS, and Collins is no exception.

Although a different Spur might pop off each night, the big man should always be a solid play. Charles Bassey has taken over Collins’ previous role as a backup center and is worth considering in this matchup at his current price of $3,500.

Since the trade deadline, Collins has been the biggest winner, averaging 34.7 FD points in his first five games with the first unit. He’s had three double-doubles over that span and has done an excellent job stretching the floor.

Overall, Collins is an excellent pick with a high floor and significant upside potential playing against the Jazz in a plus matchup. He’s a great option for NBA DFS players looking for an attractive value pick this weekend.

Markelle Fultz DK $6,600 – FD $6,900

Markelle Fultz is a player that should be on the radar of NBA DFS players heading into Saturday’s slate. The Orlando Magic will face off against the struggling Indiana Pacers, and Fultz, who has been quietly having a fantastic season, offers great value with salaries of $6,600 on DraftKings and $6,900 on FanDuel.

Despite a career plagued by injuries, Fultz is finally fully healthy and is playing like the top pick in the 2017 NBA Draft that he is. He has been scoring at least 27 Yahoo points in seven of his last eight games, averaging 34 points per game during that span. It’s clear that his growing value is not reflected in his current salary, and he should continue to contribute more against the 25th-ranked Indiana defense.

In the nine games leading up to the All-Star break, Fultz has been averaging 33.1 DKFP per game. As he continues to develop and improve, his potential for DFS players will only increase. With a strong matchup against the Pacers, Fultz is poised to be a major contributor to the Magic’s performance on Saturday night, and a solid pick for NBA DFS players looking for high-value options.

Jordan Clarkson DK $7,300 – FD $6,900

NBA DFS players have a lot to be excited about in the late game of Saturday’s slate between the Utah Jazz and the San Antonio Spurs. With a total of 241.5, it’s shaping up to be an offensive showdown between the two teams, both of which rank poorly in defensive efficiency. One player who stands out as a potential top play is Jordan Clarkson, who has been a consistent performer for the Jazz this season.

Clarkson has been on fire in the short term, scoring 20+ points in seven of his last eight games while averaging 19 shots per game. He’s also been contributing across the board with 4.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game, averaging almost 35 fantasy points in that span. With Collin Sexton out of the lineup, the guard position has even more value, and Clarkson has stepped up to the plate, assuming a more prominent role in the backcourt.

In his last four games, Clarkson has topped 34 DK points, with a high of 40.3, and is averaging 24.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. The Spurs present the best matchup in fantasy, with the worst points allowed and defensive efficiency in the NBA, and allowing opponents to shoot an average of 51.0 percent from the field.

Clarkson’s breakout year has only been boosted by the departure of Mike Conley and the absence of Collin Sexton, adding more usage to his already sizable plate
