NBA DFS Top Value Plays

Welcome to our NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Saturday 3/18/23 article, where we’ll be breaking down some of the best value plays for the day’s slate of games.

Today’s slate features a number of exciting matchups, and we’ll be highlighting some players who can help you maximize your roster’s potential while staying within your budget. So, without further ado, let’s dive into our top value plays for NBA DFS on Saturday, March 18th, 2023.

Desmond Bane, Memphis Grizzlies vs. GSW

Bane is leading the Grizzlies’ offense in the absence of Ja Morant. He has a high usage rate and consistently produces 40-50 DK points. Additionally, he has a favorable matchup against the Golden State Warriors, who give up a lot of fantasy points to opposing shooting guards.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker, New Orleans Pelicans vs. TOR

With Jaylen Nowell out, Alexander-Walker is expected to see an increase in minutes. Although his production rates are not exceptional, his affordable salary and favorable matchup against the Toronto Raptors make him a valuable option.

Jaren Jackson Jr., Memphis Grizzlies vs. GSW

Jackson Jr. has been consistent in producing good numbers since Morant’s absence. He has the highest usage rate and FPTS/min on the team when Morant, Adams, and Clarke are off the floor. He also has a favorable matchup against the Warriors, who have allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards over their last 15 games.

Fred VanVleet, Toronto Raptors vs. Timberwolves

VanVleet has been consistently producing fantasy points, averaging 19.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 9.2 assists, and 3.0 steals over the last five games. He has a favorable matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who give up the eighth-most points per game to point guards and allow opponents to shoot 37.1 percent from long range. He is considered a valuable option at his current price range.
