NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Sunday 2/26/23

Lu Dort DK $4,600 – FD $5,900

When it comes to daily fantasy sports, finding value picks is crucial to success. One player who fits the bill for today’s slate is Lu Dort. The Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard is set to face off against the Sacramento Kings, and he’s only priced at $4,600 on DraftKings and he’s a much better play there compared to the $5,900 price on Fanduel.

Dort has been producing excellent numbers recently, with back-to-back games of at least 35.75 DK points. Despite this, DraftKings has only adjusted Dort’s salary by $100, making him an excellent value play. He sees significant jumps in his usage rate and fantasy points per minute when both Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Aleksej Pokusevski are off the floor, and with SGA out for this game, Dort should be one of the focal points of the offense.

The Thunder and the Kings play at a fast pace, which provides additional opportunities for players to accumulate stats. Dort is a steady producer of peripheral stats and sees plenty of minutes. In an up-tempo game like this one, Dort’s ability to score from beyond the arc could make all the difference. With the Kings surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards this year, this is an excellent matchup for Dort and the Thunder.

Jabari Smith Jr. DK $5,800 – FD $5,600

Smith had a rough start to the season, he’s finally starting to hit his stride. In his last five games, he’s scored at least 26 DraftKings points in each game.

Despite his recent success, Smith’s salary remains relatively affordable. With Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr both out with injuries, he will have plenty of opportunities to make an impact on the offensive end. With Houston struggling without their two star guards, Smith has stepped up to pick up the slack.

In Sunday’s matchup, Smith has the potential to put up even better numbers. The game is expected to stay close, which means that Smith won’t be limited by blowouts. Although he had a poor shooting performance in his first game after the All-Star break, he’s likely to improve in the upcoming game. For DFS players looking for an under-the-radar value pick, Smith is an excellent option to consider. With his recent uptick in form and favorable matchup, he could be a real steal for your lineup.

Isaiah Joe DK $3,900 – FD$5,300

He’s coming off an excellent performance in his last game, where he played 36 minutes and scored 39.75 DK points. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out again, Joe could see another opportunity to contribute to the Thunder’s offense.

Joe’s salary is still affordable on DraftKings, providing an excellent opportunity for easy value. He’s playing in the top game environment on the slate, with the Thunder facing the Sacramento Kings. The Kings have the sixth-worst defensive rating and allow the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, making this a favorable matchup for Joe.

Donte DiVincenzo, vs. MIN (FD: $5,300, DK: $5,300)

Although he hasn’t received consistent playing time this season, he has played between 26 and 35 minutes in recent games with key players like Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green out of the lineup.

Despite some inconsistencies, DiVincenzo has demonstrated his potential, averaging 1.00 FPTS/min with those three players off the floor this season. He could have a good chance to outperform his salary against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have struggled on both ends of the court recently. The Wolves have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game over their last seven games, making them an attractive matchup for DiVincenzo.

DFS players looking for value at a lower salary could find DiVincenzo to be a mid-range play with significant upside. Though there may be some risks associated with his inconsistent production and playing time, he’s worth considering for his recent performances and favorable matchup. Keep an eye on DiVincenzo as a potential value pick for today’s NBA slate.
