NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Thursday 01/26/23

Jalen Duren FD $6,200, DK $5,100

Jalen Duren of the Detroit Pistons is a good value play. Despite the Pistons being one of the worst teams in the league, Duren has been performing well since the injuries to his teammates. He has been averaging 36 DraftKings points per game in his last five games while playing only 26 minutes per game.

He has the potential to do even better with more playing time, and while the matchup against the Brooklyn Nets is tough, his low salary makes him a worthwhile option to consider. Duren also recently returned to the starting lineup and played 31 minutes in his second game back from injury, posting 23 points, 15 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.

Caris LeVert FD $5,500, DK $5,600

Caris LeVert is a solid fantasy option for Thursday’s game against the Houston Rockets. LeVert recently stepped into the starting lineup and has performed well, scoring 30 or more fantasy points in each game and taking double-digit shots in each game.

With an elite matchup against the Rockets, LeVert is a strong play, particularly if teammate Mitchell is out. LeVert has been more productive as a starter this season, averaging 31 DraftKings points per game in his 23 starts, compared to his production coming off the bench. Houston is also a favorable matchup for LeVert as they rank 25th in points allowed and 28th in defensive efficiency.

Cameron Johnson FD $5,400, DK $5,300

Cameron Johnson is a great fantasy option for tonight’s game against the Mavericks. He recently returned from a knee injury and has already proven to be productive, scoring 35 or more DraftKings points in two of his first three games back. He’s expected to play 30 minutes tonight, which gives him a high points-per-dollar projection, especially considering his suppressed price.

The matchup against the Mavericks is also favorable, as they have allowed the seventh-highest offensive efficiency rating to power forwards, along with the seventh-most FanDuel points per game to the position in the last 15 contests. Additionally, Dallas yields 52.7 rebounds per road game. Johnson is a great buy-low option in all formats.

Seth Curry FD $4,900, DK $5,000

Seth Curry is a strong fantasy option for tonight’s game against the Pistons. He has been inconsistent, but with Kevin Durant sidelined, Brooklyn needs him to step up. He ranks second on the team in usage rate when Kevin Durant is out of the lineup and he has shown that he can produce when given the opportunity. In the 12 games he’s played over 25 minutes, he averages 28 points. This matchup against the Pistons is ideal for Curry, who is an excellent shooter.

The Pistons are one of the worst defenses in the league, surrendering 36.2% three-point shooting and 55.2 offensive efficiency rating to backcourt players. They also allow the most FanDuel points per game to shooting guards on the season. After his 32 points and 4 assist performance on Wednesday, we can expect another solid outing for Curry tonight.

Robert Williams FD $5,700, DK $5,600

Robert Williams, also known as “The Time Lord” is a great fantasy option for tonight’s game against the Knicks. He is known for being one of the best per-minute producers in the NBA, and his minutes have been on the rise recently, playing at least 27 minutes in five of the last six games. He has the potential to be a $7,000 player in this role and is due for a breakout game.

The Knicks are shorthanded in the frontcourt and have given up the sixth-most offensive rebounds per game this season, which makes this a great matchup for Williams today. Robert Williams has proven his ability to produce when given a chance, averaging 9.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 10 games, with three games recording, at least 31 DraftKings points.
