NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Tuesday 3/21/23
Top 3 Cash Values
Malaki Branham
With many of San Antonio’s players resting, Branham will have a significant opportunity to contribute. He will likely take on ball-handling duties and play at least 30 minutes, given the team’s depleted backcourt. Branham has been impressive in his 12 games this season, scoring at least 29 DK points in 11 of those games. He’s a solid option at his affordable price.
Marcus Smart
Despite recent poor play, Smart has been a consistent performer throughout his career. He’s averaging nearly 30 fantasy points per game this season and dropped 34 points in his most recent outing. Smart has played 35 or more minutes in three of his last four games and should never be this cheap in that sort of role.
Ivica Zubac
Zubac has been a consistent producer, averaging 32 DK points per game in his last 15 games, scoring at least 32 fantasy points in nine of those. He’s locked into a 30-minute role right now and has a great matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing centers.
Top 3 GPP Values
Rodney McGruder
McGruder has been impressive over his last four games, averaging 34.25 DK PPG during the Pistons’ injury crisis. This game has the highest implied total on the slate at 238.5, making McGruder a solid tournament play. He’s also not a household name, so his ownership may not be too high.
Sandro Mamukelashvili
With Zach Collins getting a rest day, Mamukelashvili will get the start and plenty of playing time. He’s played well in the past few games, putting up 35.25, 45.5, 25.5 and 30.75 DKFP. He’s a punt play at a low price and a potential double-double candidate against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Corey Kispert
With Kyle Kuzma out, Kispert will see an increase in shot attempts. He’s averaging over 42% from deep so far this season, making him a solid option against the Orlando Magic.
Of course, there are several other potential value plays to consider, such as AJ Griffin, Terance Mann, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Eric Gordon, Royce O’Neale, and Mason Plumlee. However, we believe that the aforementioned options offer the best combination of upside and affordability for Tuesday’s slate. As always, be sure to monitor injury reports and lineup changes leading up to tipoff to ensure that your roster is optimized for success.
