NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Wednesday 01/25/23

NBA DFS Top value plays for winning your DFS Contests

With the NBA season in full swing, it’s important to stay on top of the best value picks for your daily fantasy basketball lineup. On Wednesday, January 25th, there are several players who are poised to deliver solid returns at their current salaries.

NBA DFS Top Value Plays for Wednesday 01/25/23

Monte Morris (DK $5,100, FD $5,600)

First on the list is Monte Morris of the Denver Nuggets. Priced at just $5,100 on DraftKings and $5,600 on FanDuel, Morris is a great value pick against the Houston Rockets. The Rockets have the second-highest offensive efficiency rating to point guards, and they give up the most points per game to the position.

Furthermore, the Rockets have the fifth-highest three-point shooting percentage allowed, and Morris has been on fire from behind the arc over the past four games. With Kristaps Porzingis out for at least two weeks, Morris is poised for another strong performance.

Tari EasonTari Eason (DK $4400, FD $4700)

Next up is Tari Eason of the Houston Rockets. Priced at $4,400 on DraftKings and $4,700 on FanDuel, Eason is an intriguing value pick for tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards. With key players Kevin Porter Jr and Jabari Smith out, Eason has been getting more playing time and has made the most of it. In his last two starts, he has played 26 and 27 minutes and scored 36 and 27 DraftKings points, respectively.

This is elite production for a player at his salary level. The Wizards are not a tough matchup, as they are ranked 18th in defensive efficiency. Eason’s value is dependent on the availability of other Houston players, but as long as Porter and Smith remain out, he is a great option to consider for your fantasy lineup.

Deni Avdija (DK $4,000, FD $5,000)

Another player to watch for is Deni Avdija of the Washington Wizards. Priced at $4,000 on DraftKings and $5,000 on FanDuel, Avdija is expected to take on an expanded role with Kristaps Porzingis out injured and Rui Hachimura being traded. In the 20 games where Avdija has played at least 28 minutes, he has averaged 32 fantasy points per game.

This makes him one of the best values in this price range. With the Wizards still dealing with the absence of Porzingis, Avdija is likely to see 30-plus minutes again on Wednesday against the Rockets, who have a fast pace and a poor defensive rating.

Dennis Schroder (DK $5600, FD $6700)

Dennis Schroder is a player to consider for tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs. Although Schroder can be inconsistent, he has a high upside and is undervalued at his current salary of $6,000. He holds the role of starting point guard for one of the quickest-paced teams in the NBA and has demonstrated the ability to be a high-performing player, previously reaching the level of an $8,000 player. Schroder has been a consistently valuable player in his last two games, scoring 46 and 49 DraftKings points, and has been given a substantial amount of playing time in recent games, playing 31 minutes in 12 out of his last 13 games.

The matchup against the Spurs is a great opportunity for Schroder, as they are the worst team in the league in points allowed and defensive efficiency and surrender the third-most fantasy points to opposing guards. Schroder may not be a sure thing, but with his potential and a favorable matchup against the worst defense in the league, he’s worth the risk. Even if he doesn’t reach his ceiling, he’s likely to provide solid returns, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see another one of his high-scoring games.

Xavier Tillman (DK $3,200, FD $4,600)

Xavier Tillman is a player to consider for tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors. Though the matchup may not be ideal, as the Warriors have been known to limit the minutes of opposing big men on some nights, Tillman has demonstrated his ability to perform well. He recently stepped up in the absence of Steven Adams, who is out with a knee injury, and produced 25.5 DKFP in 29.9 minutes at a minimum salary.

Tillman has been consistently productive, averaging 0.94 DKFP per minute and exceeding 25.0 DKFP in both of his starts for the Memphis Grizzlies. With his potential for solid returns, he is an excellent value pick for the center spot. He is more expensive on FanDuel, but his ability to be rostered as a power forward compensates for the higher cost. Given his recent performance and consistent production, Tillman is a player to consider for your DraftKings lineup tonight.

In conclusion, these players are top value picks for Wednesday’s slate of games and are worth considering when building your daily fantasy basketball lineup. With favorable matchups and recent performances, they have the potential to deliver solid returns at their current salaries.
